A small update was released (Well for a UE3 game at least, some 260 MB.)

Quote:

- We have improved the pickup system
- We have improved the Stealth Kill system
- We have fix some issue in quest

(What's with the "We have fix some issue in quest" Heh interesting way to say that. )

I hope it works, I noticed just recently that there's a ini file for some of the save data, basically determines what you can see on the load/save page.
(I deleted some older saves and noticed they were still listed in the game so I looked through the game files and found that ini file with that info in it, of course deleting saves from the menu directly will also clear the ini file.)

Not working.. Sad

anyway , i'm deleted the game.

I really wanted to like this game but damn, it's really bad. The idea behind it is very interesting, a mix of surviving/crafting/fighting in the middle of a tropical forest with quests to follow, the execution on the other hand is abysmal :<

Very clunky controls and inventory (borderline playable really), no options, low FOV, bugs everywhere, extremely dated graphics and animations (like, ~2003 dated) and as if that wasn't enough, QTEs for every single action, including crafting and healing. Whoever came up with this idea deserves the golden pear award, hands down Laughing

Perhaps some intense patching + ability to toggle the QTEs off will make the game somewhat playable, but right now..it's an incident alright!

No map, so far all there's been is these tanned hide "sign-posts" showing directions to significant landmarks.

A new update is now available : 29-09-2013 #5
- Great performance improvement in the level of the jungle
- Added 2 new screen resolution 2560x1440 and 1366x768
- Panthers can now be killed at a distance
- Fix invisible wall at mirror pyramid
- You do not waste bandages when you miss your shot

(Sixth update - http://steamcommunity.com/app/242800/discussions/0/864980153111154232/ )

... I wonder if they over-optimized the jungle to reach those performance gains, going to have to see how it looks now.

The game updated again, the announcement topic linked to in the previous post doesn't currently contain any info on what this seventh patch does but it's probably some more quick fixes.

EDIT: Heh, right as I noticed and posted about to post it Demde did. Smile

Just noticed:

Oh snap Laughing

They shouldn't have released such an unfinished game, silly devs, what were they thinking..Hope they manage to improve it with some seriously heavy patching, but it's not easy at all.

The 'TB' vid is rather amusing lol, but rather, it highlights what disturbing lengths some devs will go to, to release a pile of shit on the unsuspecting public, and expect them to pay for it.
