					| |
					| Hey,
One of my hds just got a screwed up partition, and I am now only able
to get the data out RAWly. I've managed to recover alot, but text isnt
as easy as it doesnt really have a unique hex as other formats have...

it is a 200gigs hd so its quite much info. I've found this freeware hex editor
called HxD, which supports editing RAW aswell... Now, it's a nice editor, but
I want something here to make it fast, and specially easy to find and extract
 the data.

As you all know, with a .sfv file, the content is the following:
 <name of file> <crc>

Like, a file called "files.sfv" could contain:
 dlm-intakt3.r03 75AC5075
 dlm-intakt3.r04 F3F1BDA4
 dlm-intakt3.r05 19F7235D
 dlm-intakt3.r06 7B8B4CD1

 etc, but, in the RAW it's just like " dlm-intakt3.r03 75AC5075 dlm-intakt3.r04 F3F1BDA4 dlm-intakt3.r05 19F7235D dlm-intakt3.r06 7B8B4CD1" ... so, its there, but if I got many
of these, its MUCH time consuming finding and extract/export that as there are many .sfv files.

.nfo files are trickier! Here I would need some kind of regular expression tool... (or it's integrated somehow).

So, I know this is tricky, and I know about Automate and I know Perl... so its solvable..
But I was thinking to ask here to maybe get some bright ideas how to solve this nasty problem!

 Ideas?

 Thanks,
 Ace
