when you play pes 4 with a logitech dual action or another ps2 gamepad and the wolf patch you have the best football game ever. Just the initial difficulty of pes is a problem but get past that and you have the best experience possible imho

Installed it - still asks for original DVD. It works if I mount the image, but not off the DVD...am I doing something wrong?
On another note, the menus are going nuts for me as well, and I did go around it by disabling a lot of my USB devices, but come on! This is annoying...disabling my keyboard just to play the game?

And what forum would that be? Seriously, I'm not being a smartass, I want an answer to this question and I'd appreciate it if someone pointed me in the right direction. I burned it with Alcohol 120%, with the only option that was available.

i havent read all the posts, but someone said the game is multilan EXCEPT for teh commentary... well, the commentary is in dutch here

My game still wont start still just typing : Inserst original DvD into your DvD Drive
It´s mounted on alcohol 120% and installed from Alcohol, cant get this ?

I cloned the menu from fifa, created the options:
* Readme
* Install Daemon Tools
* Start Fifa 2006
* Keygen
First you need to install daemon Tools, after that pres Start Fifa 2006 and fifa will automaticly load in Daemon Tools (created a batch file)
Its very easy =)

I have the menu-problem with original clone AND the mini-clone.. could someone please tell me what to do? should i inactivate all my usb-units? both mykeyboard and my mouse is connected via usb and will therefore not work..

I used Daemon 3.47, no emulation, to install and play Fifa, works like any other EA title that has come out as a clone this year....try using that. If not, something is wrong with ur computer, or u got a bad release - if u picked it up off a p2p or torrent site, someone prolly messed it up somehow, try to get another copy.
I bought this the other day tho, good game, got it for a good price (i had a coupon  ). |

Good Day,
I am one of the guys that cannot make FIFA 06 start. I burned the image with Nero UDF option in a DVD, but when I mount it with Alcohol (last version), I dont have any trouble installing the game. But, when I try to play it, a loading screen appears and then the DVD began spinning following a pattern but nothing happens. The load screen remains there. Strange enough, as others has mentioned if I try to copy the image from the DVD to the HDD, it cannot be done, but I can install the game from the mounted DVD without any trouble, except that after the installation I cannot play because it seems again that the dvd cannot be read. Maybe this and the fact that I cannot copy the files to the HDD after burning them with UDF mode, are related?. Any hint? ..I have tried with different DVD medias...Thanks

try to get no dvd image mybe that will help you.
i burned it with udf and it worked like a chrm in my computer
but what you said about the dvd is spining i had it when i tryed to burned it without udf btw with what program you burned it and there is 2 udf options in nero (if you burned with nero) what did you choose?

Really thanks for your reply...Yes you are right...there are two options. I tried with UDF (the other is UDF and something else ). Sadly I am in my office so I cannot check things until night. But maybe I can try with the other option of UDF. Also trying to mount the image in the HDD is a good way to check if it is the DVD copy the problem. Moreover, I dont have an old nero version but I asure it isnt one of the last. Maybe upgrading it to 7.0 for example will solve the copy.
Although NBA 06 is a cd game, I havent got any trouble with it so I think it maybe the dvd copy.
Finally, you said it worked like a charm. Can you copy your burned image to HDD without trouble?. What puzzle me is that I can install the game from the DVD with no problem but the DVD spins when I tried to play the game or copy the image to HDD. Also, you said that tried to burn the image without UDF. My Nero didnt let me to do that because it showed a warning window telling about files larger than 2 GB and making clear that I need to use UDF option. Thanks a lot..

mmmmm...thanks again for your reply...I am absolutely certain I burned it with the same option. I am going to change for a newer version of Nero tonight and test again. Also, I am going to mount my HDD image instead of DVD image and see what happens so as to close possibilities...thanks

Good Night,
After checking some possibilities, I have solved the problem,
1.- I checked mounting the image from the HDD....no problem..the game started. So the trouble was in the burn process.
2.- I tried and installed the latest version of Nero...7.0. I burned the FIFA 06 image with UDF. Again my DVD drive cannot read it.
3.- Then I tried my last idea. By default in the UDF tab of the nero options, the File System Version was 1.02, with lot of higher possibilities. So, I tried with the last version, 2.01. Then burned the image and now I can read it and copy to the HDD and also play the game from the drive.

for the peeps who have problem with the spinning dvd thing....
if the game installs fine but it wont start mounted from dvd, just get the mini image from megagames. the mini image is just about 4mb and shouldnt be a problem to keep on your hd
