Well I'm not quoting that just to break the cycle, but it brought a *tear* to my eye. One day I will have a dog again, for now the kitty must suffice.

Here is the footage the bikers deleted from there youtube account showing they reckless behavior and all around disrespect for the rules of the road.

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3cd_1380579664

A lot of them actually have there plate removed for this rally there calling a stunt rally.

The mother of the moron on the bike who is now possibly paralised actually said this.
"This man with a Range Rover and luxury lifestyle β€” it's OK for him to do something to someone because he rides a bike or has tattoos?" she said.

FFS, this drives me nuts. Who cares what he was driving!!! or what is lifestyle is. Fucking have nots BS!!!!!

Here is the source.

He was intimidated by a huge gang, one of whom deliberately bumped into him by braking from in front, which then prompted the initial chase. They got what they deserved and that's the end of the matter.

Yes, but he was correct by driving over them, if 30-40 of those kind of raging morons are standing in front of you, with a 99.9% chance of you getting beaten up by some of them and ending up in the hospital, over a silly (what i presume) argument or a few back and fort words , i would had done the same. Without thinking twice about it.

well, you can think about it how you want, but he will go to jail for this.

This is "assault with a deadly weapon" or something.

Personally i'd reserve my judgment on the situation, without knowing the exact facts what happened between the driver and the motorcyclists.

Judging them for what they are is as wrong as judging what he did without knowing the facts imho.

I guess that didn't last. Huh. Oh well .. I stand by what I said; when threatened, as he most certainly was, by an incredibly large gang of aggressors, he chose the action that best secured the safety of himself and that of his wife and child - by getting out of there and not letting anyone block his way. I won't reply again, so feel free to say whatever else you wish.

I don't know what your problem is, other then not having the same opinion on the matter.

i think i articulated myself in a proper and non-agressive manner and it seems you don't like that either.

Also there is no need to belittle what i am saying, in order to bring across your opinion.

It's your opinion. I have mine. That's life.

I think hes concentrating too much of what type of people was involved, over what the situation involved was.
Say it was video of a bunch of rich well to do people on ducati's and BMW bikes out riding around looking to pester people, and harassing a guy in a 1980's SUV..and it would be 'those rich guys shouldn't be picking on a poor person like that, they deserved it for being pricks".
No one deserved anything that happened that caused harm...BUT the bike riders made it seem like 2 choices. Stay and get pulled out and beaten, or beat them.

In no way does 50 people surrounding your car yelling and pulling on door handles show to mean "we want to exchange insurance information for that wheel bump you did"

He could just lock the doors and wait inside until the cops arrived. Should the gang start destroying the car, he would then be entitled to run over them. I didn't watch the video too carefully, but it seems to me that he hit them first...

1. Gang surrounds car, braking and swerving in and around it.
2. One of the bikers keeps braking and accelerating in front of the car, eventually braking too hard - whether it was deliberate or not we will never know the truth (biker will claim accidentally) - and the SUV bumped into him.
3. SUV stops and bikers go crazy, swarming around and preventing the SUV from moving. They then jump off their bikes and start attacking the car.
4. Driver, with his wife and daughter in the car, puts his foot down and floors it - knocking bikers out of the way and injuring a couple of them.
5. They chase him down (though why the hell he stopped I just don't know, should have carried on the motorway) and try to smash his car up, dragging him out and attacking him.

Tell me again who started this? :/

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2438620/Shocking-video-Range-Rover-crashing-bikers-surround-vehicle-annual-street-ride.html

Watch the video (and the others posted above) - there is no point during this where the SUV driver is in the wrong, no point whatsoever. He was fearing for his life and ANYBODY here would do the same thing if they and their family felt threatened.

Didn't say what he did was the best of choices, just saying fight or flight kicked in because of what he had coming at him. People do stupid things.
But because the bikers decided "let surround him, block his exit, all approach him at once aggressively then start yelling at him in a angry manner" as the tactic to use to threaten/intimidate him..I can see why he would react that way.
If the gang didn't want it to get ugly and a chance of them getting harmed, they shouldn't have given the impression on purpose of they was out to cause harm and intentionally block any escape route.

could you please be so kind as to point me to the video that shows this ? I'd like to see, how you can "try to break a window" and then "pull someone out".

Either the window IS broken and they then proceeded to try to pull him out or there isn't. You can't pull someone through a unbroken window.

But if you can show me actual footage of that scenario, i'll change my opinion instantly. (i.e. if i see an actual physical contact from the bikers at the SUV driver.)

Maybe not that exact thing..but the showing of intent to harm is surely there.
That video on the site you linked in the quoted post, fullscreen it at 24 seconds you can see the bikers surround it, and one yelling and yanking on the cardoor so hard the car shakes (either that or hes punching at the car) then reaches in the window to try to open it from the inside, then tries the back door (where his kid happens to be I assume) with another on the passenger side yanking on the handle trying to get the door open.

I myself if I had that happen wouldn't consider it "they must want to have a conversation with me, I better get out and get my insurance card"
I dont care if its one old man with a cane..if he walks up trying to open my door and yanking on the handle yelling trying to drag me out..Its me vs him at that point by any means necessary.

It's very much the exact thing from where I'm sitting, Warlock mate. 27s the rider brakes into the front of the car, 47s they swarm it (after he stops) and you can see someone punching the car and trying to pull the door open, chase for a while, 5m02s again - pulling the car door open after the stop and, finally, 6m15s they force the car to stop and while one guy smashes the driver side window, another tries to smash the back one, before pulling the door open and... oops, sorry, footage ran out, must have been the batteries, right? Rolling Eyes

News articles so far have all said the same thing based on what driver/wife said; he was pulled from the car and beaten, suffering "lacerations" -- I wasn't going to watch the video at first because I can't stand real life accidents and gore, I hate seeing people hurt Sad, but after reading about it online, I found out you don't see anything happening much. I find the whole thing despicable and horrifying, just a bunch of savages bullying and throwing their weight around.

I get what sin is trying to get at, there is little evidence as to what happened before the biker brake checked the SUV, which could spark the conversation about who started it all. However the most important part is that these are simply thugs and this sort of scene is not uncommon. They are out looking for trouble and have little to no respect for anyone, the safety of people around them, or the law. Many of them remove their plates beforehand, "just in case". Police are helpless to do anything about it, simply because it's near impossible to catch them, and trying to do so would be dangerous to everyone involved. IMO they don't deserve any respect.
