Well, if you read about the typical use tests for condoms - the ones that produce the obscenely high results (15-18% failure rates) - you'd see that they include lots of stuff that is very unlikely to occur if you actively do not want children including not using condoms every time etc.

Yup, same with my wife too; the ring messes up her hormones and that's just not fair on her. We alternate between condoms and "pulling out", 5 years and no problems yet.

Pills affect the hormonal balance too as far as I know. But not as much as the ring thing, I guess.

If "pull it out" worked for you guys for years, you're extremely lucky. I wouldn't want my wife to take the pill, even though the things are at a point at which hromones in them are very low (so side effects are minimal). Just use a condom ffs. Vasectomy is too hardcore for me, and you still have a chance your boys will make the journey succesfully.
