can som1 please tell me what i am doing wrong in trying to get crc 2k5 working?
this is exactly what i've done:
1. install sfcure01 using !setup.bat and restarted machine
2. loaded sfcure using !start.bat
3. mounted crc2k5 cd and installed game
4. rebooted comp to load starforce drivers
5. disabled Node, CD, Channel 2 in StarforceNightmare 1.2 in that order
6. loaded sfcure using !start.bat
7. started crc 2k5. after about 5mins, it just comes up with insert correct disc.
Please what am I doing wrong? I don't have an AMD processor so sfcure for AMD 64 wouldn't work either.
Please help, please..........

Bah, the leather face mds doesn't work for me.
Anybody know if Starforce leaves some shit on your computer even after you uninstall? The first time I installed it told me to reboot, I did. But then I forgot to start up sfcure again before running it and it screwed up and afterwards, said the cd and cdkey don't correspond. I uninstalled and it's been the same ever since... does that matter that I forgot to turn off sfcure before running the game once?

I did the same thing and it worked after turning sfcure back on without reinstalling. get a starforce cleaner and start over.

Yea I'll try that; didn't realize I used an older version of SF removal tools.
Damn this protection shit is nasty. I can't close when it's validating and even if I logout and it says I'm not running any programs, it's still there once I log back in.

Thanks it finally works now.
I used the usenet release from a few days ago, the 1.04 patch and leatherface mds from copybase.ch
Though I think it feels a bit... laggy. Some RMPS thing?

No it's not a RMPS thing.
Chaos theory runs absolutley brilliant for me. Running in 1024x768 and every option on high including every option under ps2.0. And this is on a basic 9800pro + an athlonXP@2130mhz.
If your specs are atleast that it's most likley a driver issue, or some other system issue.

yo Supermax2004 you just replaced the new mds file remove protect install protect and stART AGAIN???? did you load with alcohol the new mds file???
btw i tryed to install the game with the new mds but i van't i got error massage in the end of the instalation that there is a diffrent txt file and i press ok and he sytop the installation.

I think it was like that ^^:
Game was installed with another mds and the starforce protection was uninstalled by starforce remover. Then i replaced the mds and installed the starforce protection. Then reboot, then starforce nightmare, then sfcure start.bat, then play!
Maybe i had the starforce nightmare and sfcure on when i rebooted for starforce....
Edit: By the way what about world racing 2? I cant find any alcohol rls, but maybe it whould work with sfcure too?

can firewall block the sfcure service??? i get in the command promt that the service is started but where i can see that is realy runing

Have anyone seen blue screen or restart after using sfcure?Because every time i use this when i close after some hour a blue screen is appearing(something about pending operations ans sfcure01.sys).
And cant install normal sfcure.When i click setup.bat it says that there isnt normal dir so i setup this manually(copy .sys file to drivers folder at system32)

ohw i think ididn;t make the image right can some post it here how to make the image in alcohol what option i need to choose?
i pick image wizard making but i see in a forum that you can choose from copy cd and make an image but don't know which option to choose there for starforce mybe because of that the game don't work for me

pablocoo i have the same problam like you try many mds and my ver is 4,18gb i'm taierd from this now i think i don't wanna play this game anymore lol just kidding i'm still trying if i made it will let you know
