Hmm, so I see this is on steam now. Good, good.
I also see that the PC version, is not coming out the same day as the ps3/360....again.
This interview comes to mind lol...

GameSpy: So when's the PC release date?
Ubisoft PR: October 30th.
GameSpy: Yeah, but when's the real PC release date?
Ubisoft PR: It's October 30th.
GameSpy: Uh huh. And can you say that with a straight face?
Ubisoft PR: You can ask me as many times as you like, but the answer will be the same.
GameSpy: Very well, let's move on. So, when will you announce the delay of the PC version?
Ubisoft PR: ... |
Not a biggie, a few weeks never killed anyone, but still..... damn you ubisoft.

I hope so. I noticed a lot of texture pop in playing AC3 on the PC last night.

It just happened to be that way because we went from Altair to Ezio, then Ezio to Connor and there was a lot of hype about the American Revolution. |

If this continues AC 145 will be Yugoslavia from 1985 - 2000. DLC's include War for Sarajevo and Kosovo Independence. You'll play a Croatian Serb with confused views.
Seriously, they need to start doing something new.

Yup, only the Anvil Engine had that kind of problem as far as I know (quite unexplainable if I may add ). Luckily I've never had performance problems with AC3, but I know that there's a huge percentage of people who did, so it will be interesting to see if they actually managed to fix that nasty stuff...without breaking anything

If you buy the Steam version it's also the uPlay version, the only difference is you can download your game from Steam normally like any game. It still has uPlay interface and all that though.
