man, I feel stupid... When I try to mount an downloaded mds file I alwas get an error about the file not being accessible... Is their something wrong in the filename of the iso then? What should it be? Embarassed

Both mds and mdf have to have the same name, no matter what name

Hello Guys,

I have good succes with Trackmania and CRC05... now i got SCCT... But Dont Works... After some Minutes there comes an "Key-Error"..: O_o

Question, to the happy guys which can play:

Which Key: "The 2Q4PL" or "The GQAKD"?
Which mds? from copybase? which uploader/number?

Hope for answer..

Not iso, it can't be iso, iso does not contain any information about protection, mds wil ONLY work with MDF file

@ KraetziChriZ, which version have you got? How big is mdf file? 4,18GB?

Mount the iso, then make an image with alcohol and repalce the mds with the one you have downloaded. It should work then.

Just an new Version from the usenet..

MDF is 4,14gb
MDS is 37,4kb

Add one more score!!!

Heres my entire experience. Not sure it will work for others.

After trying the whole day with different mds from copybase and getting the "key does not correspond" error each time; I did the following;

stopped sfcure; uninstalled sfcure, enabled cd then node in sfn; uninstalled SCCT; removed sf drivers; reboot

went into c:windows\system32]drivers, removed sfcure01.sys, sfdrv01.sys, sfhlp.sys, sfsync.sys
went into registry, removed the above same entries under HKLM\System\currentcontrolset\services

went into registry for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\SYSTEM\0003 was for pnp bios extension, I had set permission under system to deny "read". removed that check. Uninstalled alcohol. reboot

went back to registry and verified 0003 was removed, it existed first time when I didnt remove the read deny permission. so now registry is clear. I reinstalled alcohol, reboot

loaded the scct.mds I had originally(got from usenet) and installed the game. installed sfcure from the exe not setup.bat. ran scct and it installed sf driver and asked to reboot

after reboot, i started sfn, disabled node then cd. started sfcure from exe not start.bat. closed exe. verified my cd and dvd drives were not in "My Computer". Only the alcohol's virtual drive was shown. Then started SCCT it asked for key, I entered the 2Q4PL key. it checked and allowed me to enter game. after exiting from game, I enabled cd then node. stopped sfcure through exe. then ran update to 1.04. started scct it asked for reboot. After reboot i started sfn, disabled node then cd. started sfcure from exe not start.bat. closed exe. then ran SCCT and again after check it entered the game...voila!!!!

after uninstalling alcohol and/or daemon tools I still saw the entries in registry, and I could not delete from registry, so I open device manager and under system devices, I found PnP bios extension and Plug and Play Bios extension, and I uninstalled both then reboot and the registry entries were gone.

Finnaly is working here Smile Trackmania needed Sp2 to run Sfcure .. tryed lots of things but only Sp2 deal with it ... Very Happy tks for all the help folks

I don't have a nforce chipset, but heard starforce nightmare doesn't work on it. So you need to manually unplug them.

I don't have a nforce chipset, but heard starforce nightmare doesn't work on it. So you need to manually unplug them.

Still not working for me...here is what i did:

- Downloaded and installed service pack 2
- Downloaded the LeatherFace image and renamed it to the snake one
- Installed sfcure and started it
- Mounted the LeatherFace image and installed the game
- I got the protection message from the installation so i rebooted
- Disabled node and CD (nothing else)
- Started sfcure
- Tried to start game
- Entered the 2Q4... key
- It checked (and this time it started hanging faster) but after that it still doesn't respond
- I cried

So...what did i do wrong...i use the

Splinter_Cell_Chaos_Theory_PCMulti_By_Snake.mdf

You mean like it hangs, and you need to reboot your computer because killing the process even doesn't stop it?

If so I got the exact same problem, my question is what are your system specs?

You must wait it need a sek to load the game wait 30 sec.-1 min and you will see it works fine

That is exactly where it hangs, and even killing the process doesn't stop it, I have to reboot.

Hey perhaps a suggestion, could you try the following:

Open up your pc, remove the Power Plugs from your CD/DVD drives. then turn your pc on and see if perhaps that fixes your problem?

Also try DT instead of Alcohol perhaps it helps.

Just unscrew the screws on the back of your pc, look for molex connectors, connected to your cd-rom drive and unplug those and then boot your pc and try the trick with the image.

Molex connectors look like this:

If it doesn't work just plug the molex connectors back in and your cd/dvd-rom drives will work fine again.
