The loot hunt was delayed until 1100 am EDT saturday the 12th.
Today's target is Knuckle Dragger, he should drop a gwen's head pistol every time. Use that pistol to kill the community target, badass marauders.
The daily target of 50k badass marauder kills with gwens head has already been met.

i dont understand why they doesnt include UVH2, dont care about skins and DLCs to come seems to be just hliday based thematical raids (Halloween and thanksgiving one already confirmed , and others will be probably Xmas , ValentinesDay and Easter)

Anyone doing the loot hunt, can you still get Day 1 loot? Didn't get a chance to start until yesterday, tried to go and kill the Knuckledraggerbut didn't get any loot, but wanted to confirm as I was really drunk and might not have killed the right thing.

No you can only get the extra easy drops during the specific day for that drop.
Though if you farm for the item in the normal spot it will have the new updated stats. Gwen's head is an easy find in the Dust. Just keep checking elle's garage and quitrestart til you get one.
Today its the thre dog shotgun from Flynt.
Hoping tomorrow is another legendary

Target tomorrow will probably be the Assassins.
clue is "One, two, three…"
They seem to be the next "bosses" in the storyline progression after Flynt and their names are Oney, Wot, Reeth and Rouf.

Thanks for the info. I don't get what is so special about the weapons in the loot hunt. Got 2 out of 3 so far, both were level 4, my character is level 30. Are they doing it on ultimate vault hunter mode or replaying normal to get those drops? Seems a complete waste of time otherwise. My max char is still at 61 so seems pointless doing it as it is.

A 72 would only get a level 8 drop if they were killing the boss on normal playthrough. Do it in TVHM and get 35-ish and UVHM for 50-OP8
If you are 30 and havent beat the normal playthrough then you will be getting lower level drops. Hurry up and finish the game to get to True Vault Hunter Mode and you will get drops in the mid-high 30s.
My highest character was 36 when this started and the easy legendaries are helping immensely. My mechromancer was not doing very well in TVHM prior to this contest.
Now I need to advance further into the TVHM playthrough or I wont be able to keep up with the daily targets.

Today's target is Rouf, the last Assassin. Drops an improved Emperor legendary SMG.
Community target is 1,000,000 GUN Loaders.
best place to farm them quickly is Friendship Gulag off The Dust. 20-25 per run and its a fairly small area to clear.

Just remembered yesterdays challenge about 10 minutes before the new one went up. Thanks to Steam crashing, updating and then BL2 "searching for DLC" it was 10 before I could play. Got the loot but no entry.
