Have you played Deus Ex 1? If not, then I suppose he doesn't mean anything to you.

If you aren't going to play it, the very least you can do is watch the intro video of Deus Ex 1, and see how his character and what he talks about in the ending of Human Revolution ties in with the original game.
I enjoyed this game and spent at least 6 hours a day the last 2 weeks playing it but it really did feel like I was playing a game from 12 years ago. The story was kinda weak too but that always seems to be the case with games where you have multiple ways of playing through it.
Didn't play Masquerade or Manhunt but to me it seemed like a cross of Blade Runner and Shadowrun (not the game, the books) with maybe a hint of The Matrix. Even the little hacking mini game seems to have been inspired from the old SNES Shadowrun game.
Overall not a bad a game but to me it did feel dated.

These days you can better wait 1 year to get the actual full game. You now buy 50% of the game for full price. Than you get another season pass for another price of the full game to get the other 50% you should have got in the first place. On the next gen I will just wait for the "game of the year" editions.

Im thinking of playing this one as I left the game last time on that first hacking mission I felt bored but after playing deus ex fall I feel excited can someone let me know whether directors cut works well on ps3 as there were reports of black screen also big question whether should I get on PC ? I have core i3 and gts 250 so not sure whether it would work well or not if it works on medium settings then I'll rather get ps3
