either to usb0 or hdd0:\packages if im not mistaken. You have 3 or 4 options in XMB at packages so it should be there after the download in one of the folders.

Interesting. Only tried the DUPLEX rlz, on 4.21, and it worked fine.

Dodgy CFW ? Didn't know that some of them weren't working with all games !

i would advise everyone to use the latest rebug lite.
rogero has been problematic lately, and habib is pretty untested as well.
i had alot of problems with last rogero i used.

rogero cfw started being shit ever since he went into busy with real life mode.

Quote:
I built this last night before I go to sleep and installed it and tested it for 5 minutes only on my PS3, all seems fine and stable, but as usual with any CFW : USe it at your own Risk.

There's no Rebug 4.50 of any kind yet, but when one does come out you will be able to "update" to it over the top of any existing 4.50 CFW.

Having problems running Deus Ex Human Revolution Directors Cut .... I'm on Rogero 4.50 & Multiman 4.50 .... I've tried BD mirror on and off ..... I've tried running the permissions in Multiman, I think I've tried everything but I still keep getting black screen and I have to unplug the PS3 to turn it off......

Anyone have any advice !?

there is no benefit to stay on 3.55 anymore... upgrading to latest custom firmwares makes PSN possible, makes eboot patches unnecessary and allows easy installation of all new game patches

i prefer however the rebug custom firmwares, releases are slower than others but quality is way superior than all other modified firmwares

The longer you stay on 3.55, the harder it will be to upgrade. Everything you have installed now (Blu-ray games aside) will fail to work if you update - all your apps, emulators, hacked PSN/PS1 titles, all are signed with keys that were changed in 3.60 - so I do understand some people's reticence to upgrading, it's a PITA.

I don't recommend Rogero FWs, they're pushed out too quickly and usually end up requiring a bunch of "fixes" - his last 4.4x caused a "system is corrupted" error loop which wiped out my internal HDD and I lost everything - stick with Rebug. They may be "behind" the latest firmware for a time but that's because they test test test and test some more. You *know* you're getting quality and stability with a Rebug FW. So, for now, get Rebug 4.46.1 Rex or 4.46.1 Lite - REX has the debug features that may or may not interest you, and Lite is just a standarded 4.46 MFW. It won't matter which one you choose really Smile

~edit~

Same as Habib really, it's only been out a couple week and already required THREE updates and fixes. That shit just makes me nervous, especially when you're playing around with the flash that could permanently brick your machine if you don't have a hardware flasher.

Hey PPL.

Just a quick question for the PS3 hacking crew.

I've got an original NTSC 60GB BC Phat with a 1TB 5400rpm hdd install as the internal. I've chosen this over an external as I didn't want to have to FTP to internal, then have multiman copy to external, then have the PS3 have to install to internal (if install was necessary).

Unfortunately with quite a few games (GOW3, TLoU, BTS) loading is terribly slow and there is audio syncing problems all over the place.

Would I be better to go out and buy an external drive for these games to solve the sync problem (is this 100% fool proof?) or;
Replace the internal with a faster drive: WD Scorpio Black/Seagoat SSHD?

Running latest Multiman and Rebug 4.46 at the moment.

Thanks guys Smile

I would recommend playing the internal with a slightly more modern drive, I've got a 640GB SpinPoint M7 in my launch Phat and had *zero* issues with TLoU. Loading was fine, no audio sync or any kind of trouble whatsoever.

@NFOAC

Sorry bud, I'm not ignoring you.. I just don't have an answer. I don't use BD-Mirror nor "Last Played" Neutral Well, didn't use when my system was working, but you get the point.
