Earlier today i started noticing a pain in my right foot on the left side at the middle. It wasn't all that bad at first, but it had me limping. Now i can barely walk and need to use my heel or else the pain is excruciating. The only relief is having my foot in mid air. Regardless how i place my foot on the ground i feel the damn pain. :@

Anyone else had this?

Edit: Omg, just took of my socks to check and my whole foot is swollen :S

I know what you speak of, had the same (or similar) problem. Worst part is it caught me mid-camping in the mountains, so I had to limp for 15km wih a backpack Wink

As moosenoodles said, you've strained your arch. Have you overexerted yourself while wearing wrong kind of footwear? Could be the problem. Check yourself for pronation/supination in the future. As for the pain try some balms with diclofenac, always works for me. Don't take painkillers, they are next to useless.

If it doesn't go away it may be cancer Cool Face

or maybe a spider has laid its eggs inside the foot while you were asleep.
dont worry, it will burst eventually in a couple of days or weeks (depending on the species) and the baby spiders will leave their nest So Much Win

Best thing to do is to see a doctor. If it's that bad and you can't walk, call an ambulance.

Naah, should be fine on it's own. Although if it's really swollen checking with a doctor wouldn't hurt.

Some harmless things can be fatal. Not trying to be overly dramatic here, but one of my lecturer told a story about her sister's husband who had his finger stuck in a door. Thought it was nothing until half his arm was swollen up and by then there wasnt much u could do. He went to the hospital and died of necrotizing fasciitis a few days later.

2013 Rick Teal, New Zealand father of three, was at work when he noticed a nagging pain in his right leg. Within half an hour he had developed a limp. He was subsequently admitted to Wellington Hospital and, two days after the onset of symptoms, he gave doctors permission to amputate his leg. Teal eventually recovered without amputation but large areas of infected flesh between his knee and ankle had to be debrided. Necrotizing fasciitis is on the rise in New Zealand.[33]

I don't get why so many fellow Humpers are afraid of doctors. Razz
They're not sick individuals whose only reason to exist is to cause you pain and abduct your cheeks with a huge alien probe (well, at least not all of them Cool Face)..they're actually useful!

Maybe I'm a pussy, but every time my body shows the nasty signs of something that ain't right, I always consult the trusty family medic, just to stay safe or find a treatment. It's free here..so why not^^
So yeah Stormwolf, I'd go too see one asap, even if it's probably nothing deadly. Very Happy (although The Zeel's theory might be valid xD....)
