That story spoiler was so predictable, I don't even consider it one.

I hope this is true. Better stealth would make up for the bad combat system, add all the naval battles and explorable yarr lands to that, and I'm game. J Browman (making the missions more varied would help, too)

Should go and get III finished, got spoiled the ending after weeks of not playing (last third roughly done) it because I had different stuff to do and didn't always have the motivation to pick it up.

Given that this is a prequel to AC3, I don't think it matters but I heard a rumor that one or two characters mentioned in IV are from AC3 (Haytham being one or that of his wardrobe).

I'm finishing up on AC3 right now and I "think" I'll have it done tonight/tomorrow, yet my save game says I'm at 55-ish percent done (I assume that factors in collectables which I'm not doing too much of)

Less connection to AC III was pretty much expected after they told what the story in IV was about.

If I buy AC4 on Steam and activate it via VPN on 19.11.2013(EU release is 21st), will I be able to play it, or uPlay will block me anyway ?

Anyone tried this on Ubi game before on Steam ?

Thanks.

VPN activation on Steam should always work when you do it right. But nobody can tell now how AC IV will handle on release.

I know, but I wonder if its affected in any way by uPlay, since uPlay will also run even if you buy the game on Steam(basically I am just asking if there is any check on uPlay side).

Where's that quote? Its place is right here.

Not sure if legit, but seems plausible: http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/10/22/assassins-creed-4-launch-trailer-arrives-a-month-early-brings-warning-of-pirate-adventure/?utm_source=fb&utm_medium=emp

I meant that the delay from the console to the PC version might be like in ubi's games, 2 weeks - 1 month instead of waiting for a shitload of time to release the PC version.

Now games.on.net has a follow-up from Ubisoft saying they are still working on making this the first game where the PC edition is released simultaneously with the console editions. "The PC version hasn’t been delayed," says Ubisoft's statement. "We’re all still working towards an October 31 release date for all formats."
