Make sure you install the game 1.01 patch as prompted, and replace the EBOOT.BIN into the patch folder, NOT game folder : patch folder is dev_hdd0/game/BCUSXXXX(whatever the number is)/USRDIR/

The cut version is truly horrible, they didnt put any effort into changing the scene, but just made the stick magically disappear

But usually the germans are pretty creative when it comes to censorship, for example in german half life we had robots instead of mercenaries, and if you shot a scientist he wouldnt die, but sit down and bob his head from side to side like he had a massive headache. Where is such ingenuity here?
I finished it, it was enjoyable. I pretty much had the same experience with HR, wow at first and meh towards the end. I don't hink the story is very well done and the random chapters pissed me off in the end. It adds nothing to storytelling, it makes no sense. The disparity between very interesting chapters and boring/bad chapters was very apparent, some things were in just to be in.
To conclude, the first few chapters were a lot more interesting than the later chapters, the game left me disappointed in the end. Ellen Page was by far the best thing in this one. I predict a shitload of games voiced by Ellen Page.
Watching it on youtube on centerstsin channel as i did with great heavy rain, because dude plays just as i would and since I don't own ps3 this is a good game to just watch.
It is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere, story, music, acting and the gfx. Gfx are just incredible. Shame there is no pc version. This game would love some hires and good ssaa.
I have seen about half of the game and black bars are annoying. But jumping around timeline... I am not sure. .. It's too much and unnecessary. But sorry it's very interesting.

well u already got derpbox get a ps3 and game looks as good as it is, i haven't noticed any jaggies, judging it by yt video or killercrokka u
ps3 exclusives do not suffer same fate as usual ports
played with bb again and fuk sake u need to have one of those 21:9 tv's, going back to leftovers
they really should've made a goddamn switch between ar, lazy bums, oh well at least it's free

Even The darkness stiff face animation have it's charm.
Next gen is kinda exciting. Games will be finally pushed to next level... for last 5 years or so we were held in place (but amazing games still happened)
anyway. Finished beyond on youtube. FANTASTIC game. Liked Heavy Rain more I think, but quantic does it again

I just started playing this with the black bars removal eboot. Im getting some weird shit like the black bars stay or disappear out of sync, when scenes change. I suppose its just the way it is? Playing with 1.02 patch
