How far should I have watched the anime series before playing this game? I'm around episode 110.

Storm 3 starts from Shippuden episodes 197 (todays episode is 335 which should be DLC part of the game)

Wait. This is coming to PC? I remember loving the show and watched until Naruto goes away with the perv-sensei.

was kinda surprised that its coming to pc awell Smile
seems like you ended in old show series - now there are 335 parts of the new one and i thing this game will ends around todays epiode Wink

Yeah, it was the old series. I remember that at the time the manga had way too little material to immediately jump into the grown-up series (Shippuuden?) so the anime had a shitton of fillers. By the time the actual story came around again I got bored. Watched maybe one or two of the new one and it just sort of fell off my watch-list.

Hmm I can't seem to get the game to use keyboard input, how interesting.

EDIT: Ah no wonder, none of the keys are bound to anything.

EDIT: This isn't going to work with a keyboard it seems, binding three types of movement keys is going to be very difficult.
(DPAD up, down, left right - Left Stick and Right Stick, up, down, left, right.)

EDIT: Actually I think I can manage but it's not going to be easy.
(I need a third hand.)

You start the launcher and from there you can set visual settings which include screen resolution, aspect ratio and SSAA (2x or off) there's also a VSync option saved to the ini file so I guess it can be enabled from there. Smile

The other setting is related to your controller or other means of input, you select from a variety of presets (Likely it detects the controller you are using based on these.) or at the bottom you select the keyboard input.

The keyboard input is completely unbound and you basically have to map all of the X360 gamepad controls to the keyboard, I didn't try but the mouse buttons might work too.

This includes two analogue sticks, one directional pad, four main buttons and four secondary buttons plus the start and select keys.

The setup I'm using now works fairly well but battles are pretty tricky though I did OK somehow. Razz
(Managed to reach the bonus goal of 40% health remaining and I completed the QTE near perfectly which gave a bonus scene.)

Visually I'm pretty impressed though I'm not really a Naruto fan but I'll continue to see how the story goes. Smile

EDIT: Oh and the dubbing as usual seems to suck but it has Japanese VO's thankfully.

EDIT: Oh and framerate is locked to 30 as mentioned earlier, I tend to get around 24 - 28 FPS usually, which is kinda low.

Yeah I much prefer the original voices when it comes to anime, most of the dubbed ones are overdone or how to say. Smile

It could be the crack but I find that unlikely, I'm not going to buy the game just to check that and on the Steam forums it seems everyone is using gamepads so I didn't find much info there. Smile

nope there just isnt any default NS3FB.ini file at least in RLD release ,might be in FLT one.
It says all disabled in button config.

need to find at least somemanual to know which button does what

Dammit. I must be doing something wrong. I thought that I'd be able to use the Rumblepad if I got the 360 emulator.

But all I'm getting is a msvcp110.dll error Neutral

And every time I copy over the xinput file, it screws up the game. Reinstalling for the 3rd time now.

Runs very smooth for me. FPS is not even an issue. Everything is fast and responsive. Graphic looks great with supersampling. So I would say it is a very acceptable port.
