If Assassins Creed 4 and COD ## gets more than 3.5 then their reviews are fking pointless and should be banned.
We get the same AC and CoD year after year for the last 5-10 years and Batman which has had 3 games so far gets rated down because of no innovation. Talk about double standards.
This is exactly my point about these reviews. Also, Jim Sterlings whole "story is a delivery system for more paid content" is absolutely astonishing given the games he gives high marks to have 3 or 4 content packs lined up before launch. He seems to be taking it out on the game that he had to delay his weekends work on other projects to get the review done for destructoid as soon as possible (he was moaning about it on twitter).
The game easily has the best story of them all, has pretty much the same mechanics as the other games and really the only thing I can see that is worse than them is the lack of riddles. That does not equate to a 3.5/10 game.
heh..these Dark Knight challenges sure seem bugged. Next one was "Complete predator session without using Detective mode". Used detective mode a lot, still passed

I guess WB didn't offer enough "incentive" to rate the game higher like Ubisoft and Activision do.
Is this really a 3.5 game? (I haven't played it yet so I don't wanna get spoiled reading that)
This is plain ridiculous, just like Gamespot's farcical second Bioshock Infinite review, with that 4/10 given to attract more people and gain more $ from them thousands of clicks like Werelds said.
Journos have no self-esteem and coherence whatsoever these days, they only care about business and payolas. It's not exaggerating, it's the truth. Just grab the ISOdemo and try it yourself, if you liked AC you'll like this one too. It's basically the same game except for the deja-vu effect and a slightly different (worse or better, I don't know) narrative structure.
edit: and another +1 to what Seafort said. Coherence, these people really have none

I would understand if they substracted 0.5-1 point out of 10 because of rehashing the successful formula, which is the safest bet. But going from 94 for AC to 75??? Come on!!!
anyone knows where i can get this song ? that plays while in this ''club''
and that grade the game is great 8.5, a 9 if it didn't' have bugs/glitches.
i haven't encountered any besides the tower one and one one while in wonderland while trying to cross river.
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

still, almost at the end + only enigma sidequest left and i feel i've been robbed. from the trailers and interviews they said many times that the 8 assassins have a very big role in the story but in the end the real villain is the joker, a little from bane/firefly/black mask and the rest is almost none because they are sidequests missions. still i find the game very enjoyble .

should have been expected since its a prequel to AA
As for me - i will probably wait for patch and all story DLCs before giving it proper playthrough And B:AC is still on my backlog
whats the cheapest for nvidia batman key? got one to spare, i dont care about multi and i`m already playing isodemo version
Ebay will be your best bet, Russian sites are offering them for $15, other key sites that don't seem to be Russian, but probably are getting their keys from there are going for $20-$22. Ebay could get you up to $38 if you cash in quickly, but those figures were from the day it was released, $30 might be more realistic.
yeah but there should have been at least more content for each assassin
Why? They're not 'Supervillians' like the Joker - they were duped just like Bats was - they're only there for the bounty, nothing else.
Seriously, take the game for what it is, it isn't supposed to BE different to AC, it's effectively the same game, just set a few years ago.
I'm not saying WB are not lazy, in reusing virtually every resource from AC, but at least they didn't try to reinvent the Batwheel, and end up with something hideous.
Since most projects, in which devs change, turn to crap, I'm really glad they kept it as it is. I also think people are doing these guys injustice by calling this a simple project. I consider this AC 2.5 untill the real third game in the series arrives.
We've been getting tons of feedback on Batman: Arkham Origins multiplayer since its launch on Friday. Many of you are really enjoying their time online, but we've also had reports of several pesky issues that need to be addressed. We've been working closely with WB and the other companies involved in the game to get these issues fixed as quickly as we can, and we've just released a hotfix for the PC version of the game.
This update addresses several issues, including leveling progression not being saved correctly in some cases and Arkham credits not being awarded correctly.
Here's the full changelog:
Fixed player progression reset when leaving the title
Fixed consumables not being used/applied when activated in the pre-match lobby
Fixed Arkham credits not being awarded after playing a match
Fixed cases where purchasing credits were not working
Reduced map vote countdown from 30 to 15 seconds
Reduced map start countdown from 10 to 5 seconds
To everyone playing on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, we've not forgotten about you, either, and are working on some stuff to make your experience better too. Stay tuned.
There's a bug that prevents you from accessing a certain area in the game, but there is a "glitching" fix for it. It's posted a few pages back or just check on YT the Angry Joe channel.
Nice to see most of them (if not all?) are for the MP...
To be fair the MP developers were a different team (Splash Damage) and assuming they are the ones doing the patching of the MP version, it's not a case of prioritizing the MP fixes.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
