I got it working at last!!!
I didn't used starforce nightmare and disabled everything manually...but i disabled everything except the thin i needed for the image...
I rightclicked C and went to hardware...i disabled it all (i have lots of drives that i don't even know for what they are for and they didn't got disabled by starforce nightmare so i did it manually and it worked!!!)

Could you tell me what devices you disabled?
that way I could give it a try to, as I tried to disable my DVD-Rom and DVD-/+RW drive and my 2nd IDE channel but it did not work

I am unfurotunately in the same boat as you aswell.
I even got the official CD here, worst thing is that I still can't play this darned game as even the official CD doesn't work! and the store refused to give me back my money, never gonna buy another starforce title |
I have an official copy to and it works with the sfcure
Is ur cd-key wrong? if so just email ubisoft and they will send u another one
but remember
the install key is only the top line of that little sticker on the inside of the case
not those 7 numbers/letters underneath
fucked me up when I tried to install it for the first
like the sticker should have a row of letters/numbers
like this - xxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxx
then a lil number line underneath
so itd be like this
Instal key - xxxxx xxxxxx xxxxx xxxxx
xxxxx- xxxx
Only enter the top line as thats the install key, i dunno what the other number is for |

I know how it works, but I can't even start the game from the freaking legit cd! I also entered a valid cd-key that one passed, but my system just hangs at the progess bar at 25% and doesn't go any further. No matter if I try SFcure or use the legit cd to start the game it just always hangs, and it's a starforce problem honestly as I got another Starforce 3 game legit and has the exact same problem. And it is definately starforce that is the problem as all other games with other copy protections run fine. This will also be the last starforce title Ill ever buy!

are you running the 64bit windows? I read somewhere their is a starforce fix for that OS... Don't remember where I read this
try the official starforce site or do a little search in google

ok, no luck here then, ... That's why copyprotections suck IMHO, I like to buy games that deserve being bought just to sponser the creators of that game and motivate them to create other great games, but I hate it so much they build in these copyprotections, they'll better spend their money on the development!
I for example love SWAT4, I bought play it for hours but if I want to keep everything official I have to leave the disc in my drive where it gets hot as hell, spinning like crazy + risc of scratching it without the abbility to make a backup copy
FUCK YOU STARFORCE, SECUROM and all other wanking copyprotection firms

Interesting update:
On a German forum some people confirmed that they made a working USB-clone of World Racing 2. This game uses the newest SF version 3.6.xx.xx. The USB-clone runs after the powercable of the internal IDE DVD and CD-drives has been removed. This I think gives us hope that a high DPM-clone should also be possible to play with sfcure. At least it is nice to hear that the Starfuckers crew still werent able to fix usb-method!

for all people who are unable to get splinter cell working with sfcure: Please download another image, the version you are using is most likely not a proper one.
I had the same issue in the beginning, first I believed it was like popele said because of the nforce or AMD 64 bit processor but it aint. Doanloaded another release and it's working as a charm now
What I did:
-installed bad release and tried everything
-Download good release
-disable node and cd in sfnightmare
-started sfcure03_64
-start game
-played it like crazy

Tip: a good release can be found for they whom look on the site where newz is trown in the bin. check for Dutchman once you are there, he has given the mailman a working SC+sfcure version |

I often have, but right after I press space after message 'service stopped, press nay key'
I run Trackmania Sunrise just now, so I think my problem is incorrect scct image...

Let's say i have SFCure.CloneDVD of any game and I don't wanna install SFCure driver coz I don't have SP2.. So can I just burn the image and play it on external USB drive? What about SFClone's? Can I burn those and play on external USB too?

Yes you can do that, it has already been confirmed that you can also use the Sfcureclones on your external USB-drive. But dont forget to pull out the cables of your internal IDE DVD and CD-drives or else Starforce will ask you to put the disc into another drive (from SF version 3.5.xx.xx and higher).
But I dont know if the Sfclones released by Mirror will also work on an external USB-drive, that will probably depend on the media you burn them on.

I have problem!!
Whten i'm starting the !start.bat i get:
"System error 2 has occurred.
The system cannot find the file specified."
Windows XP sp 1.
On my friends computer(also sp 1) it has worked(I have beter computer from my friend).
