So I started playing this and oh boy does it look good, especially with SweetFX and all the tweaks suggested here(thanks for that).
Forgot how good this was.
Anyway...don't know if it's those tweaks or not,but everytime the game autosaves I get a huger fps drop. It's like it's streaming the environment and pausing the game in order to do that. :/

I think it's normal sadly, happens to me too. It's probably because they've chosen to put the checkpoints right in the same spot where the new level/part of the level loads (and that kind of stuttering is very common to all the UE3-powered games).
Changing the PoolSize to 1024 could help in some cases (didn't do much for me), as well as enabling the triple buffering, but it's kinda hit 'n miss as usual.

I think PoolSize works more on how fast textures get loaded, so you dont see those low rez-high rez texture pop up so easily but i might be wrong, that loading stutter i think everyone gets it, we just have to deal with it :/

Indeed, it's just like you said . Though sometimes that value can be helpful for the stuttering too under certain conditions (don't ask me why xD). Bioshock Infinite for example did benefit a lot for me after I changed that value (from stuttery all the time to smooth with random pauses when loading new areas). It varies from game to game I think, also different versions of the engine seem to give different results.

If you are referring to the mech dog in the scene it chases you, you just have to run in the direction the camera is, and avoid getting hit by the car he throws at you.

at the begining of chapter 2 there is a small ingame cutscene and the shadows on the characters faces is very jaggy and they flicker too,in the enviroment looks ok, i`ve tried all settings dont know what to change anymore. is it from game ?
it seems setting MinShadowResolution=32 and MaxShadowResolution=512 to default helps but they still look ugly.

What a simplistic game, it's been a while since I've played one of these. It's as simple a port as it can get, not a single ounce of effort done. What's the point of platforming if you can't fall off the platforms anyway?
I don't like it.

It's just a nextgen thingy, nothing to worry about. Apparently true platforming sequences that require more than a couple of brain cells are a thing of the past, they really break the pace and are immensely boring. Reloading a savegame just because you did a mistake? Unacceptable. That's why this game, along with Remember Me, Tomb Raider, AC and many others are pressabuhonawesomely approved by the official Casual Gamers Committeè.
Spoiler: | The rest of the game is actually pretty enjoyable. (as long as you own a gamepad) |

The patch puts in the menu graphical options such as those people used ini tweaks for.
Not sure why it took them months instead of a single day, but hey, it's good they finally did it.

The game is better if people play it on console. I played it on both platforms(xbox and pc) and i must say this game's port really sucks. Other than that, really good game.

The performance was bad for the game which released in 2010. There was no option to change keyboard buttons. Moreover, there was 2 seconds freezing after every scene change. And the game was really bugged, especially the bugs Trip has were really annoying.

- No performance issues here. Also since the game is 30 fps on consoles, for you to recommend the console version over the PC version, the PC version's performance must be <30fps for your suggestion to make sense.
- No option to change keyboard buttons? On consoles you can't use keyboard at all. And since the PC version supports a gamepad just fine, PC wins again.
- Freeze after every cutscene was annoying as hell I agree and it is why I stopped my playthough but it has been fixed: http://steamcommunity.com/app/245280/discussions/0/630800443478788105/ & http://steamcommunity.com/app/245280/discussions/0/630800443426903048/#c630800443447464835
- Critical bugs, if they do exist, I agree of course, but I am not aware of any.

Well i didn't mind any of the issues the game has on pc. I'm just suggesting it's really fun to play it on consoles.

So, what the hell's wrong with this game?! I initially installed the FLT release, but then I just got one of those awesome russian repacks from RG because they included the update. The framerate, even in the menus, is so bad that the game's a slideshow. It seemed fine from the 1 minute I spent in it in the 1.0 version. I only got in to check if it runs and how it runs and feels and that motion blur nearly made me sick. The controls also seemed pretty terrible so I restarted the game to try it with my gamepad and holy shit, it's even worse. I'll try the game properly if there's a fix to that problem, if not, screw it, I can't be bothered to get yet another release for such a game.

It worked fine for me (I don't own a controller, nor am I considering getting one at the moment.) but I'm used to sub-optimal keyboard/mouse support so it doesn't bother me much.

Heh yeah I guess all those quick ports of games with "features" like mouse acceleration, non-rebindable keys and at times having the mouse or keyboard just emulate a gamepad kinda made me used to working with those restrictions.
(Not to forget a interface identical to a X360 pad despite using a mouse+kb setup or numerous poorly implemented QTE's clearly designed for gamepad, ha ha.)
A gamepad would of course help in those games once you get used to how it controls but at the moment I am not considering getting one since no game has outright demanded having such a device.
(And then when you find a gamepad you might like there's some games requiring xinput or direct-input - although some controllers can switch modes and several games support both - plus some games are designed directly for the X360 gamepad which to me looks kinda clunky although I've only used it a few times, demos in gamestores for example.)
