hmm i think that the people arranging the releases cant get any1 in stores and people that got it from pre-order already dont have any intensions to copy it cause they are retarted |
....man, if people in euro, the us and canada who have pre-ordered it, have it in their hands as i speak, means the group's have it to...I mean, if u were a scene group and u didnt have a good pre-retail supplier, of course for the big releases atleast, ur gunna have the pre-order as a last resort - I mean 4 or 5 guys pitching in on a game isnt all that expensive, even if they pay full price and dont get a deal. Remember, the groups that do it for money (tisk tisk) make more off the cloning the game than not not cloning it, in terms of if they are just sittin there with the game and not working on it.
So, no doubt it's being worked on now. Hopefully, its being rar'ed up and such
Then again, maybe im being to optimistic
Do we have a confirmation as to what protection its using? Even the SF clones have been coming along nicely these last few weeks |

If the release date is yesterday, they had it on Monday, if not Friday...i used to work at a videogame store when i was just outta highschool, trust me, they have it. I think sources are hard to come buy nowdays as ppl think they are gunna get booked and dont want to take the chance.
U know what ive also wondered? How many times group a has got a game, day of release and figured they wont bother with it as group b,c, or d will release and they wait a day or 2 to see if anyone releases it...if not they come through...I hope shit like that doesnt go on  |

Like Rome Total War and GTA SA and many more, this is a high profile game. Everybody will be eager to bring it out first for the 'fame' it brings. My guess some smaller groups just rely on Reloaded to do it, though, as they know they can't compete. (But a clone will probably be released first).
Don't take my word for it though, I know nothing of the scene except for the things I've read here in my time on these boards.
Say, do any of you have msn/yahoo/icq/aim? Might be fun to talk about B&W2 and perhaps teach me in on how the scene works.

You guys are being quite naive.
in the last three years busts have been going off like crazy taking out members of all the groups, even if they still have the numbers who survived all that, i doubt they would be running to pick up preorders, to much of a paper trail. using details in a preorder->cd key being released all over net -> short number of locations releasing -> busted.
the feds are getting smarter and smarter, and giving deals to the kids they bring in for jobs hunting their own, idea's like tagging release's and getting dump site logs can only come from insiders who know the system.
If you think this site and it's forums arnt watched by anti piracy groups, you'd be a moron, and shit power to them, the fact is the scene is coming to the last chapter, microsoft slowly closing the gates, protections getting harder to crack, and sure, we have the minds on the net to crack those games, so we all can enjoy our legally copied versions. but that's the problem, most of the big names have been busted or scared off by them.
the future of the scene lies in private torrent networks imo.
Sorry to Hijack ~ excuse this as my first post, and can't wait for B&W2. Peters Legacy has once more been extended, im sure it will be a fine title, and heh.. im waiting on the preorder, after i heard stories of people getting jail time for cracked copies of mIRC, I keep everything genuine.

Ok, ENUGH with the robocop speak, this is just like when whatever game it was got released, actually i think it was Earth 2160 or something, gets released in the USA a few days before EU, but NOONE, not a SINGLE PERSON in the US knows how to make a clone, games who are released in the EU, 1, MAX 2 days, clone and cracked.
What the hell, is wrong with USA? Is everyone busted there? Is there some kind of secret surveillance the rest of the world doesnt know, hence noone dares to make a clone? lol what am i supposed to think?
