Probably not going to get this now that I think about it. By the time it's cheap enough for me to afford, I get the feeling everyone is going to be so far ahead of me, or stopped playing, or moved on to expansions or what not.... pah...

Mmm, nope. Didn't buy a 8 therad CPU for a game that suports 8 threads, just so I disable half  It's been years of "disable HT" it's time they fix it, not end user. (anyways, don't have motherboard or the game yet, so even physical cores disabled )

I'm from Russia.. where exactly should I get b4 so that I can play it in English?
Will getting it from,say, amazon guarantee English language available in game?

I was under the impression that all the keys sold online are global, so you should have the possibilty of choosing any language you'd like when you install the game.
At least every site I've seen shows that the order comes with English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Czech and Russian language choices.

i dunno about amd but using a gtx680 performance stepped up so much in w7 that i dont even bother to start 8.1 now to play, id prolly get more fps but its still so high that i wouldnt notice much
running on 331.65 btw
you should worry more about the horrible hitreg and FoV problems, the gun FoV isnt locked >_<, meaning if you have a fov of 90 ull have less zoom when using ADS and ironsights/1x

No, you don't. Tonight we'll set our systems to identical settings and compare framerates. We've got similar enough machines, I call bullshit on that benchmark result; or perhaps it's limited to 6-/8-core CPUs. |

they didnt use to do it like that but who knows, i think you should ask support. might be a new policy to try and keep people from buying russian version cheap

i dunno, i actually gained more than that going from 7 to 8.1 in the beta, so its not impossible, just unlikely now as its quite alot better optimized for 7

When we compared 2 nights ago I was getting some 70 FPS on High with MSAA, you were getting close to 60 on Ultra without MSAA? That's not a doubling of FPS. We'll see tonight. |
