Nothing like this here.
But I will gladly watch news showing people turned into crazed animals.

Why does Romania have a "Black Friday" tradition?

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

isn't every day a black friday in romania ? Smile

anyway, that vid is like normal shopping behavior. Not like in Uhmerica, where they run over the staff and other people like crazed shopmongers.

FUCK. THAT.

Never, ever.... I actually like to stay home in Black Friday because of all the insanity around here. I live in a very densely populated area which on Black Friday is pretty much impossible to get anything.

So no, no black friday for me.

Why the hell not, bought a fuckton of cheap stuff last year, including a Nikon D5100 with a tripod, two objectives and some other stuff that amounts to ~1400 EUR, but I only paid like 780.

While I do approve it's idiotic that we have a Black Friday, it's good for the wallet in the event I need or want something that's on sale.

I should also mention I got these things online, I cba to actually go there.

They could simply call it "consumers day" and be done with it.

This "Black Friday" thing has no meaning whatsoever.

Its called black Friday because its said that this sale pushes retailers out of the red (Profit loss) into the black (Profit gains)

As I see it, its tied to Thanksgiving, another one of these days which have no meaning here (or in romania), so I couldnt care less about "Black Friday".

I can read wikipedia though. Smile

We can work something out. What shiny trinkets are refered to as money in the country you live in?

And Ixi, you mean as tasty as this?

The fact that you are Italian is like having a wallhack, girls are gonna line up for you! Just say randomn italian sentences and they think you are telling them some romantic poem Laughing

Tho it's kind of the same in Sweden with French

And I thought we had a terrible reputation up in the North xD Now it's even more tempting.. I don't have a cappuccino complexion though, I guess being nearly as white as "them" doesn't help much. I'd have to rely on my advanced babadepupian grinhurt

@HubU: I don't know if you've ever tried that, but it's so bad..Laughing I ate that stuff once some years ago when I was too lazy to cook something, it tasted like cheap cheesy soup with weird egg aftertaste :< (more like dead chick)

Never tasted any of that Knorr crap. I would if I was is some space station or something, but I never understood people who bought this. What is so fucking complicated about making your own fucking sauce? And if you're lazy/tired, you have plenty of alternatives :>

Yup they do, I barely dared to talk French in Belgium (afraid of making mistakes), but here in Sweden I just ramble on xD

Kinda funny tho, they have a lot of words from Dutch when I pronounce them in the Dutch way people usually go 'ugh'. When I use the words they butchered from French and pronounce them in the French way they go: 'aaw that is so cute' Laughing

It's getting money and wares moving, that's the whole point of black friday. It makes people buy stuff they don't need because they think they're SAVING money when they're actually buying things they wouldn't have bought in the first place. Same old rebate/sales scam.
