I got around 30 movies and 30 games... and mybe 50CD'rs / DVD'rs
but I lose them very quick... and I delete often old shitty games life BF2 ... ( does anyone want to trade the serial... I got the legit... only the game sucks ) |

I was one of those ppl, in my first year at uni I got every single game that came out, and burnt it, and I'm serious.
After a good 100+ cds I started to be more selective, especially after I counted 20+ cds with games that I haven't even installed.
Now, I very rarely burn anything. get it, play it, delete it. It sometimes can backfire, when there's an extension of a game you've deleted.
I know only burn movies that I wanna keep.

lol ... I'm not exactly quaking in my boots. I don't live in the USA, so I'm not worried about someone kicking in my door.
And for the record, I've never sold a single bit of warez. I give away a lot of stuff to friends and family though ...

I dont think i've burned one downloaded game in over five years. I have 2TB harddrive space that i use and a wireless network with my xbox. I hate having CDs everywhere

piracy is bad, mmmkay?
btw., when i see pics like the one griffon posted, i always feel like i want to slap people really hard, as those setups are used only by people who profit from the scene and often can make a decent or good living from it. I really hate that. Its those people that force the vendors to use more and more crippling exploits to secure the software (starforce etc.).
If you copy stuff for your friends, give it to them for free. Everything else is just wrong and despicable

Agree, selling something you stole for free, thats right down there with rapists, its just as low.
I mean lets face it, most of us here do "steal" stuff by downloading things we dont pay for if we dont like it, and lets not discuss why or if its right or not, the point is;
If you profit of something you have stolen, fuck you, go to hell. If we download a game, which we dont like and dont buy, there is no harm, and no money lost. Except if we would buy the game and THEN be dissapointed, in which the company would just get bad PR.
If we download a game, then sell it, making money of it, that the developers should have, thats just the new low, come on..
At least let people buy it and support the developers, who the fuck wants to financially support a lowlife like that? Every noob who buys pirated copies should just go over to their house and put a knife to their throat, forcing them do teach the person in question how to download themselves.
And for the record, i have a big penis and im heterosexual

Stealing? That is the backward ass thinking that associations like MPAA/RIAA want you to think. It is copyright infringement, plain and simple and there is a huge difference between the two.
As for vendors who use downloads to profit, they deserve to get burned.

A game gets released that a Corporation has worked on for 4 years, it gets Sold in Stores for xxx ammount of Money.
We Download it without that Corporations permission, without Paying the xxx ammount of Money it really cost. That my friend is Stealing.
Or what? Do you think you do this for the children in africa?
If i take Black & White 2 and i call it my own creation, thats copyright infringement, if i literally Take Black & White 2 without Paying it's set price, that is stealing.
I think shit like this should be free too, but i dont fool myself.
