Full of "shoot first, die first" moments and "run behind cover, die" moments for me. Whereas beta was perfect for me Razz What setting do you have for that "network smoothing"?

Yeah, the sound issue was still very much noticeable. I was driving a boat and I wasn't hearing any engine sounds and it happened also when I was driving the tank.

Is it just me or does the AC-130 suck? I was in the heavy artillery seat and couldn't kill anything. Got like 5 direct hits on attack boats and couldn't even disable them, and there doesn't seem to be much splash damage because I could only wound infantry with near direct hits.

i don't bother changing something, unless i have an actual problem with something and there is a setting. otherwise it's just placebo or making it worse hehe.

And yeah, 75% win/loss. Anyone who can say better ? ^^

pretty sure the crashes are sound related anyway. 9 out of 10 times, the crashes occur with the sound looping and game freezing. Only very rarely it's a "direct x error".

BF3 also had some issue with sound configurations etc. So, who knows.

When the sound stars looping, can you still close the game or it crashes the whole computer? Because I had the same exact problem in BC2 where after 10-15 minutes of playing I get a sound loop, and then computer becomes unresponsive. Strangely, the culprit was the MSI afterburner.

About hitreg, I still get killed behind cover sometimes, but most of the time it's pretty good. I feel confident when shooting people's heads peaking from cover. But only yesterday I had a guy point blank but none of my bullets registered as a hit. Needless to say, he turned around and killed me.

nah it's a soft crash. Either wait and it will pop up a "battlefield 4 has stopped working" eventually or just ctrl-alt-del and terminate the process manually.

I see. Luckily I don't get those but I usually play on smaller servers. I do get crashes sometimes but they give me a directx error, getdeviceremovereason or something like that. Both in sp and mp.

I can tell you it's lethal against infantry if you know how to use it. But yeah, against vehicles it's a but underpowered right now.

and the attack boat is a freaking monster, so it's not a good reference hehe. Seriously, that thing is above OP (it can survive and kill 2 LAV's at once, that should tell you all you need to know lol, especially with the upgraded weapons and stuff. It's a freaking beast.

I don't know why you keep bringing W/L percentage up - it says more about your (or the enemy) team than about you. One player's efforts alone do not decide the outcome of the match Smile

Well, to be fair, I did notice a higher winning ratio on my side as well (it was 2.9+, which should be around 75% too), which I thought was unusual. I guess had more luck with joining the right side with BF4. It often was the other way around with BF3.

It's been slowly going down since then, so things are getting back to normal Very Happy

DICE must've worked a lot on multiplayer, it looks so different than BF3's multiplayer.
