I love the opening cinematic

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Wow.. Asshole Batman is so much better than iamagoodguy Batman from AA & AC. I can somewhat hear his Chris Redfield voice at times, but I dig both the voice actor and the writing of the character. I am impressed.

The FMVs run disappointingly bad though. Sad (they feel like 15fps or so)

You can't get a lot of them unless you've either finish the main story or far in with all the equipments, the pace of the story makes it hard to predict when it's gonna end exactly.

It's a bug, not a feature.

It's like everyone in the industry decided that it was cool to remove the QA entirely and replace it with direct beta testing on the field by the customers themselves. Laughing Those lazy asses. Very Happy

You're forgetting your on the internet. Someone who's playing the game without any problems won't bother coming to a forum to mention it. Forums are completely skewed since people with problems will complain a lot more, which is normal obviously. I remember I've played a lot of games ten years ago which we'd call beta, or even alpha, these days.

That said, I haven't had a single bug yet in this game (though I'm only at 17%). I'm actually starting to think this one is better than AC, it has more character and it runs flawlessly. Too bad for this game that AC was actually released, since I get the "been there done that" thing a lot now.

It's true that people are more vocal nowadays, but it seems to me that since the online is now a vital part of our lives, developers are also taking "advantage" of this situation by fast-forwarding their schedule and releasing products that aren't 100% finished "because don't worry, we'll drop patches later on Steam, it's so easy!" Razz. Maybe it's just my sensation, but I think there's definitely some truth in this.

That said, I'm also one of the few lucky people who aren't having nasty bugs with the game (well, so far), except for a couple of clipping issues and weird ragdolls, but I believe we're the 1% grinhurt

Yeah, only bug i got so far was the tower one... aside from that, the game runs flawless and it's fun as hell.

Just got to the part where Bats 'interrogates' the Pinguin. Yeah that was a nice sequence Very Happy

Playing on hard, which is pretty challenging I think. Not exactly the 'normal' of City as I've read here.

No bugs encountered so far, the game looks and plays great.

Agree with this. The new Batman feels much more of a threat than Conroy's monotone performances.

You get hardware PhysX (ApeX particle effects require a CUDA compatible GPU, others will work but at a heavy performance penalty if used via CPU.) and you gain TXAA which greatly helps with aliasing though it's a bit blurry much like post-process AA but it has other advantages.

All other effects should work on either brand, whether that's AMD or Nvidia.
(Or Intel but yeah those don't quite cut it from what I know.)

No idea whom is currently king of performance (Without PhysX) for this game, I'd guess Nvidia but it's probably quite even.
(I'd assume SLI and Crossfire is also quit even but I don't know about any potential issues like Microstuttering or random performance drops.)

Ah good old 80s-90s PC music. Very Happy

Takes me back to the days of Fury of the Furries, TFX and such. Too bad that I always end up disabling these during install, since I always end up watching some vid.

Well a bit further into the game, and had my first crash and some other bug which prevented me from continuing any further. Like I've said before, the game isn't bad... but it doesn't have that magic touch that the last two games did. Still having fun... but at this rate, I'm not even sure if I'll want to continue to finish the campaign, feels like I will get burned out before finishing... we'll see.

there is this 1 bug that is killing my play - if you KO a guy you need to interrogate - that's it, you can no longer interrogate him, and after some time he dissapears, and doesn't reappear as far as I can see.. so now I can't kill the Bird, because the quest is broken.. Rage

Strange, I haven't been in many such situations so far though but in those battles the guy you need to interrogate should surrender after a few hits and sort of crouch down, also protects him from any further damage.

Probably they missed a few NPC's, one of many smaller bugs this game is currently suffering from.
(Hopefully they continue supporting both MP and SP until these are mostly resolved, I guess the planned season pass content kinda guarantees further development but we just have to wait and see how committed the developers are.)

I have 3 datapack markers that still show up on the map, even though I already collected the datapacks. Also got the extortion files and the datapack set shows up as collected in Most Wanted, so it *should* be fine.
I believe this happens everytime you reload a checkpoint when the last save was from a datapack collect. It may be removing the datapack marker after the autosave and if you reload it the datapack is collected but the marker is still there. Wonder if they'll ever disappear.

This must have been the game QA:

This is more like commodore, atari and spectrum music and later amiga demos music, as i remember it. They were just moved to pc, those were the times of 8 bit music and sound.
