yeah my K/D dropped from 2.1 to 1.96 ! rofl.

I think a big factor is all the idiots spaming MBT LAWS and the countless useless recon snipers ...

So the number of people actually mattering in the game is quite reduced because of that (a 32vs32 easily becomes an actual 10vs10 lol).

Especially the MBT LAW, Dice did an awesome job giving that crap weapon as first anti- vehicle for the engineer. i mean it's a spam weapon, you don't have to aim or anything, just spam. BUT it does little damage and slow. It's crap, total crap. But they keep using it and spamming and never getting anywhere ...

So, finished the campaign with all "3 endings". Definitely an improvement over the BF3 campaign, and even better than the piece of shit that was Black Ops II. Story wise, nothing that's gonna win any awards, pretty straightforward, but I liked the main characters a lot, especially loved Michael K. Williams's excellent job characterizing Irish. Finally, I don't think there's need to talk about the graphics. major words there.

Anyways, campaign left behind, time to focus on the thing that really matters in this game, multiplayer!

I understand the main character of the campaign is meant to represent "You" but the silent protagonist thing doesn't work out very well, calling you a team leader when all you do is give 'attack' commands is also a bit weird since all critical choices are so far being handled by others in the team like if you didn't really mean anything.
(You could be a drone with a weapon platform for all they care.)

EDIT: It didn't work very well in Metro Last Light either (Though there was a monolog for each level there.) since to me it seems so unnatural when everyone around is interacting with one another or the environment.

Yup, in Battlefield 3 your character at least talked. Here, he is completely silent and we don't even know how he looks.

Well I never saw Rekker as the main main character. That's why I said "main characters", in plural. For me, the members of Tombstone had all the same importance Smile But I understand your view of things of course.

got really bad flckering on the smoke on my gtx690. I tried everying and the only think that solved it is switching off multi GPU. so its now running on once GPU but still plays very well on ultra everything. Come on Dice/Nvidia get it sorted

i've to say tho, the campaign is really really low on my priority list hehe. n todays fps in general, there is like no sense of accomplishment anymore. The difficulty etc is basically the same from start to end and in most of them you can't really die anyway, unless you something really stupid on purpose. And once you finished it, there is no satisfaction or anything, so why even bother lol.

The only reason to actually play the campaign is to unlock 6 weapons that are only obtainable that way Very Happy

In 60 minutes of multiplayer pew pewing I've never managed to finish one single game without having crashes. Laughing

Also it still runs pretty bad for me with all the random framerate drops, considerably worse than BF3 which was smooth as butter, and the visuals don't justify this at all since it's only slightly more polished than the previous game. And the missing sounds are haunting me as well..DICE go home.. Okay

Hope the patches manage to fix everything because I'm not exactly happy with this game so far. After all the trouble that I went through to activate it, I'm quite disappointed so far. Hell, the patched beta ran better than the final game for me Laughing *raises fist*

I had a problem with being bossed around in the sp. Technically you were appointed the squad leader after that dude bites the dust, but from then on is all you hear "Rekker do this, Rekker do that, go stand there, spot this shit, pick up this launcher, snipe that dude" and so on. Also when you land on the carrier in the final mission, you can't even fucking get up without the girl helping you up. And Williams's character was a pussy, kept crying all the time. In fact, I think his character even has tear streaks on his face.

Still playing the campaign, and currently on mission 6 i think.
Yea the story is as crap as in all the CoDs. But i expected that. My intend to play the SP of this was some brainless shooting and get some bonus weapons for MP. And with that i have fun Very Happy

Tried MP again... if it wasn't the fact my movement commands took 2-3 seconds to register every now and then, or that when I was being hit the FPS just kinda....stops... and of course the random fps jumping and freezing. no, other than that I get 60fps just fine Laughing

The worst part of this netcode is when you get the jump on like 3 guys and open up on them, but only one dies and then they somehow turn and kill you even though you've emptied your gun into them, because the first one was soaking up all the bullets or something before it registered he's dead

It seems so fucking hard to get double/triple kills in this game, almost impossible. Actually I don't think I've ever got a triple kill in BF4 even though I've been in plenty of opportunities after coming up behind guys to do it. The only time it's doable is when one guy spawns in on another because you are shooting him before he even spawns.

I got no movement delay. I trust you're not referring to the natural delay there is now before you start effectively running, they implemented it now so that you need to gain momentum before running. A fine addition if you ask me.

Now, occasionally I've experienced delay when trying to enter a vehicle, it's been kinda annoying when it happened.
