How about some discussion about the game itself or some impressions, instead of all the protection talk which should be blatantly obvious to anyone who actually took 10 seconds to read the damn nfo?

When the game hit the stores here in germany, this crap was nearly unplayable. So the developers made an 800 mb !!! patch. After applying this megapatch the games works better than before. Multiplayer wasnt tested, because it simply didnt work.
This was the reason for me to skip this crapfest.

Do you get an error when you click on setup.exe? Is it running in the back ground? Check out your task manager. If it's running in the back ground end process tree. Once you do that and it's ended try again. If it does the same thing reboot. If it does the same thing after a reboot I would guess it's a bad burn.

I'm having the same problem. I did everything the nfo said, except one thing. I disabled my CDrom and DVDrom drives by disabling a parallel ATA channel in bios (instead of physically removing them). Still no go.
But the thing is, when I run that SFAFSB, and try to "install sfcure driver", the nfo says that it should ask me to update the registry. It doesn't. It also doesn't copy the sfcure01.sys into the windows\system32\drivers. So, I did it manually by running setup.bat and start.bat from sfcure03_x64 subdir, but that's supposedly for 64-bit processors. I do have athlon 64 but I'm not sure if I also need win xp 64.
Anyway, SFAFSB doesn't seem to work. So I did it manually for 64 bit processors.
Then I run the game and it doesn't verify the dvd. I have the correct Alcohol installed, and I tried mutiple ways to enable/disable emulation, all to the same effect. NO WORKY.
HEEEELP
Thanks

Works just fine here. It is a little bit annoying with all these CD/DVD disconnections but at least there is a way to see if it worths the money or not.

Same problem here. Installed the DVD version, tried the FScure in both suggested ways (the .exe and the .bat files) and it looks fine but it keeps saying
"The Disk Key you entered does not respond to the disk in the drive. Make sure you use the correct Disk Key."
Got my CD-drive disconnected btw.
anyone knows how to fix it yet?

this usdually means it cannot read the image correctly because the disc key is right. make sure u followed the sfcure instructions VERY carefully and it will work. i had the same problem for a while.
and no , it is a really poor game, and definitely notr worth the download, but thats just my opinion
