What I really dislike is the fact that the maps are so cluttered with stuff to get stuck behind to. Annoying. They actually feel rather large (or at least some of them) but they are full of stupid obstacles.
This franchise needs to take a break.

If you have less than 6GB RAM or CPU lower than Core 2 Duo, you'll need iw6sp64_ship_Ram_CPU_Fix.
If you have more than 6GB, just download the game, nothing else.

So, no patch, but which release do I get? Reloaded or skidrow? Or does it matter?

Can you tell me about how the customization works. Do you customize a char for each faction or you have just 1 main char who changes his uniform color based on the faction on the map?

You take one base character and start customising it - I haven't unlocked much but some have alternate outfits too. A change for regular camos and gear.
Goes something like this: base character > gear (i.e. clothing)+ camo (camo has some color variations) > perks+guns+killstreaks
The character you make remains the same as far as I've seen.
And the scoretable has been redone. You press Tab and get a small table to upper right screen corner. Press again and it's gone. No factions displayed on that table too. Maybe it shows full table in Esc menu but I haven't checked yet.
Like I said, this is very uninspiring CoD. I'll check some more if I have nothing else to do.
I'll play Black Ops 2 or MW3 instead perhaps.

Btw even tho it's funny someone gave COD a score it deserved since MW2, this Jim Sterling guy was kind of an asshole. Cause he gave absurdly high scores to COD when his job was on the line (MW2/3, BO). Then he waits for his "2-weeks notice" to pull this one off. Kind of a dick move, altho, deserved.

This sounds great. I hated some character models in the the previous CoD games. I dont know about Black Cocks 2 because I never played it, but in MW2 some characters looks terrible.
