The game is crashing all the time for me now. When the fuck are DICE gonna get off their lazy asses and do something about it. And why the fuck isn't there a client patch yet. It's depressing that the game is in such a bad state.

I understand that patch should be first check in terms of quality and compatibility... but.. come on... It is proper way to do it when game got minor bugs and problems, not when majority of gamers (or minority - thx Dice) can't play properly.

If you havent tried it yet, try disabling crossfire. Just tried it here, and it ran very well on single 6870 without an fps drop in sight on floodzone which since release always gave me horrible fps drops. Played only two matches so far with it disabled, but so far so good. Everything on low, ht is on (on or on it doesnt make a difference for me).

Yesterday I had two computer crashes, one while the map was changing and the other while quitting. Don't think it's the computer's fault since what is it taxing while loading or quitting.

Honestly getting kind of tried of all this performance bullshit. I don't remember the bf3 launch, but was it this bad? Now people are reporting that the game is crashing if you use m320.

It's hard for me to accept, that PC gamers have gotten so stupid ...

No health packs and ammo Very Happy (in BF3, edit: OnBoard)
Nothing has changed Very Happy

Biggest reason is they talk in Chinese and Russian, most people don't understand those. I know there was an English voice over setting thingy where they talked with accent, that I used in BF3, is there such option in BF4? Obviously it only helps me, as default is still wrong language to rest.

I alway give plentiful of ammo (even too much now, while trying to unlock ammo box and have reverse problem that people don't take them as they don't even show up on minimap and no-one understands what the dude is yelling). Same with med packs, but when you are in a firefight, or covering some spot, it can take a while to notice the minimap ammo/health blinking.

edit: heh, SP sees to have same problems as MP. The whole "running on mud" dude gets stuck even on slightest bumps on road and enemies need 5 shotgun shell to die or whole clip on another weapon. So it's not the netcode, but something wrong in the engine (headshots do work). Not to mention the obviously broken REX that fires bullets second after you press the trigger. All guns might have the same (smaller) lag and maybe it's why the misses happen? Or maybe it's just general lag between command and action, be it walk or shoot.

Reading battlelog - some ppl got problems with SP, but I didn't have a single one with retail version. Well.... with game itself I mean, becouse I still dont have m249 for finishing SP. Anyways... SP is not worth any effort. Waste of bandwith.

It should be required on the official secure servers, also you might want to check that it's actually fully uninstalled just in case there's any remaining files or running services. Smile
(No remaining files in the User folder or Windows folder.)

There's a FAQ here and a utility where you can check on the program.

I played here without pb installed
http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/battlereport/show/1/397731930652592704/195700424/

this servers shows pb being on as a requirement.

wheni run the pbsvc it doesnt show uninstall as an option anymore.. only install so i assume its been removed totally.

-Fixed two of the most common server crashes (All platforms)
-The "admin.say" command should now work properly (PC)
-The "vars.preset" command should now work better in conjunction with other vars settings (PC) (It is now easier for server admins to set a server preset)
-Fixed a bug in the queue system regarding GUID (PC)
-Fixed various minor bugs (PC)

Y-day only 2 crashes in 3hrs playtime. Maybe this will improve even more. And maybe I will be able to finish shangai round for once in retail. Soundloops and BF4 crashes every single time, max 3 minutes in game.

BF4 is just better looking BF3 with more bullshit and better textures and exclusive(!) levolution = you shot things, they fall.

Single Player is buggy boring crap.

Did not get to MP, but i doubt it will feel different than BF3, as from the streams i saw it feels as the same game on different maps.

Together with another CoD they form an ultimate 2013 shit FPS collection, must have for any fan boi.

Campaign is terrible
Multiplayer is great, I find it better than BF3, by far (when it don't crash, fortunately I've been quite lucky in the department lately)

Because it's a generic ride from point A to point B. It's boring, the only reason I played it was due to the fact that you unlock stuff through it in MP.
If it weren't for that I would probably have stayed away from it.
