So what's next? They gonna break that, just like breaking their promise of no cash-shop?
They gonna use DLC's instead now? Where you can buy a pack of 5 dungeons or 2 raids for €25,-? Laughing

What they said in the past and how they think now can be COMPLETELY different. This is just common sense. Game will not end here or they would announce it as the final expansion pack.

What i'm wondering though. With the severely dwindling numbers, how are they planning for people to hold interest with this final raid for a year. A new raid with 1 boss might be a solution they can come up with, but i hardly think it will hold for more than a few weeks.

Well it's the same as what they did in Wrath.. We had ICC for almost a year..
Really got boring as fuck.. (yeah fair enough they gave us the an extra boss in dragon temple and in WG.. but still..)

There is no way this raid will be out for a raid. I'm pretty sure they KNOW if they don't release expansion by may-june, they can say goodbye to half of subscribers.

I'm positive we will get beta before year ends and with release on around May, latest june.

Well i'm probably gonna buy this too who am i kidding, even though i haven't touched wow since the start of pandaria. Prolly just to level one char to max and be done with the story...

But seriously wtf are the new models, they teased the worst races.

blizz always releases nice content , but dont they get people plow through that content in weeks and get full top notch gear with in the same $15 month?and once you do that there is nothing left to do in the game. Miss vanilla wow, had really good time back then.

Yay, time travel focused expansion in which we try to make sure everything stays roughly the same! I was afraid of something like this when I heard the dreanor title.

Still, I'll play it like I do all expansions, and I'm not gonna lie, it does seem interesting as I do have a weak point for lore and the warcraft history (never played WC1), and I'm very interested in the private stronghold. But dammit, where's Azshara / N'zoth / Kil'Jaeden / Sargeras...? Recently played through Vashj'ir again on an alt, there's so much open stuff there, but they choose to ignore that and push it further forward again, just like MoP did. At least we got Y'shaarj there I guess.

HOLY FUCK ON A GIANT STICK OF TURD. These fucking morons are removing "Hit, expertise, parry and dodge as well as reforging". What on earth are they doing? I do want SOME management of my damn fucking gear. Also Strength and intellect specific gear is of the past. No clue how they are going to do that other than creating really generic items such as timeless isle where you gamble on getting the stats you want.

i mean you reforge for hit/expertise. and before reforgind, you just go for max hit. and expertise for tanks (if i remember right).
dodge and parry on the other had ...

Nah expertise is for melee dps as well, we need both hit and expertise soft capped if you are a proper raider..
I think it was 7.5% for both (unless dual wielding).

Id just want the feel of TBC back with maybe classes done like in wotlk and some like in cataclysm. TBC had the best balance between casual and nolifer.

Removing Hit/Expertise is a wonderful idea. It sounded good on paper but in failed in reality. It was terrible gold sink for some people. There are still people in LFR for example who are not hit/exp capped so therefore
the entire system is punishing that player.
Removing Dodge/Parry is also good because those are pretty stupid stats when for example, Protection Paladin will want gear with Haster/Mastery because Dodge/Parry is worthless for them as a stat.
Maybe if all tank classes could fully utilize Dodge/Parry but otherwise glad it's gone as well.

It felt like whole reforging system was just punishing casual player and just gave unnecessary burden on normal/heroic raiders.
ven with reforge, hit/exp ratings are out of control during Siege of Orgrimmar. I'm glad that it's gone.
Plus it was not really fun, to import your character to Mr.Robot or in-game reforge addon, put 5100 hit rating for mages for example and reforge everything else to haste/crit or soft caps.
There was no management to that, unless you crunch your own numbers that is ;]

And I also welcome item squish, because frankly game has become a number game to large population of people and where is the fun in that? Glad we are going back to TBC hp/damage levels.
I'm personally super excited for the upcoming changes, but each to his own. I really hope they are going to try and make leveling fun again, with dynamic quests rewards(you get chance of getting rare/epic instead of just green item).
