Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Ep #1

(I like how it looks, spent like thirty minutes just exploring this initial area and taking screenshots so no way I'm finishing this in ~1.5 - 2 hours.)

I think I'll do exactly the same. Razz There might be not enough gameplay in it, but at least the art-style and attention to details are quite amazing -as usual.

Just the default DX11 (ultra), plus this SweetFX preset for the sharpening/contrast: -> http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/746/

And I thought you asked Ixigia. Razz

There's nothing in those screenshots other than what the game allows and RadeonPro for SMAA and a slight negative texture bias to somewhat increase sharpness. Smile
(I don't think either shows up in the screens though, I looked at them and the SMAA effect definitively don't appear to be in those shots due to the heavy aliasing they show.)

Some minor UE3 tweaks but being a older build it's nothing too advanced.
(They have customized it quite heavily though so it holds up rather well.)

Yeah, I should have clarified who I was addressing, but it was too late, sorry folks. Smile Anyway, thanks, JB. Can you perhaps provide a link for a comprehensive UE3 tweaking guide?

The reason people didn't think you meant Bioshock is because it looks 6 years old.

Other than Koroush Ghazi's guide for Unreal Tournament 3 or Mass Effect (TweakGuides.com) I don't think there's anything available that goes through the UE3 ini files and various settings, there's some advice on what to set the various ini files too but it's usually explained poorly or there's no real testing done on what those suggested settings actually do.

It's also difficult because UE3 has changed so much in these recent years with new technology replacing older stuff thus changing the contents of those ini files even more.
(The streaming system has undergone various changes, PhysX is updated to 2.8.4 now and DirectX 11 compatibility has been available for a while.)

It get's even more complicated when developers change the code to add their own systems to the game such as the render change that Dice did to achieve the visual look they wanted for Mirrors Edge.

So unfortunately I don't think there's anything too comprehensive available other than maybe the UDK wiki but it's more for editing than tweaking though it covers some settings in more detail. Smile

BioShock - Infinite: Burial At Sea: Episode #1
(So it took over two hours to explore everything and only now the real game begins, or well I've just found the frosty "plasmid" so progress is a bit further than this but I didn't take any screens.)

EDIT: Lot's of images of that guy and that girl due to me capturing bits of pieces of dialogue.
(Considering how beat up she looks now I guess he had a lot of fun with her, or maybe he's more into doing it with his paintings.)

EDIT: Deadfall Adventures ->

(Pretty game, not too bad for UE3 and it's quite fun so far too.)

Working on even more new trees for FO3, this time inspired by the movie "The Road". I always loved that scene where they're dragging the shopping cart and in the background there's huge, bleak dead trees.

Someone tell this "i-hate-frostbite-engine-cuz-it-runs-so-shit-on-my-PC-and-that's-why-i-pretend-it-looks-like-crap" how he owned himself since that's gameplay and he actually thought it was a movie.

Killzone: Shadow Fall

Maybe some console love in this thread for a change; even though it's in PC Gaming? Sure!

There is a share feature on the PS4 which lets you take screens and videos. Awesome, right? The downside is... right now you can only upload the screens to either twitter or youtube, so the compression is god awful. Also a very tedious process trying to upload, and then grab the photos of off twitter...
