Bought it on GMG, added the code on Steam and redownloaded the game....only to discover that the expansion wasn't working. Checked the Steam forum and found out GMG keys are EU only, meaning anyone who bought it from them has to wait until the 14th regardless where they live. That is some bullshit.
-edit- or I guess it's not just GMG...people who bought from Amazon and other sites are having the same issue.

I downloaded the 3DM version but the game is not starting for some reason. I can see the process in the task manager but it never boots.

3DM version is not cracked and frist release was missing the actual dlc
ALI213 version is full game + dlc updated to latest version. Still needs crack for both .exe

Main game update 5. It updated 4 GB of .bik files. And the old 2 DLC's for base game.
Enemy Unknown DLC is in separate folder inside base game with separate .exe and everything and its 8 GB

I downloaded the ALI package and then the crack but the game is not starting from the XEW exe. If I try to start it from there it opens some window in Chinese but the game is starting fine from the vanilla exe. Is this how its supposed to be or something's wrong with the XEW cracked exe?

How do you know if you can play Enemy Within? I got it from Gamefly, activated it fine, got some 50mb update, but there's not even a new menu screen when I launch the game or any indication afaik
I don't see any new options or anything, I haven't played this game since launch

Yeah, the forums are lighting up with speculation that it's the add-on that downloads whether you bought the game or not.
But some of that is various fixes/enhancements for the vanilla game

The title screen will be redone with Enemy Within in the upper left corner. You won't see the Enemy Unknown screen title anymore.

Yeah, I didn't get the 4 GB patch on my desktop but I remembered that I modded it, so I redid verify cache and it's downloading 11.2 GBs now. lol

Scene release contains base game + updates + DLCs. Hence 18GB
DLC standalone is ~7GB
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
