Had a Swedish test (oral) ffs it went bad... Had to talk about my hobbies or what I like doing.
Stupid me took video-games/IT crap. So I went babbling on about games and my interests in tech stuff and just halfway I say: I'm sorry but it's actually boring to talk about this stuff to you.
So she asks if I had other hobbies or interests and again I make a crap choice and start to talk how I like reading about astronomy and physics, well science stuff in general.
And the entire time I'm talking about that stuff my inner voice is screaming 'WHY THE FUCK MAKE IT HARDER ON YOURSELF, IDIOT!'.
Everyone else is talking about stuff like shopping for clothes or going out for a walk. Should have taken the easy road... But my brain just short circuited and blurted out the first thing that came up.
I'm just way too fucking weird to have conversations with strangers.
Ah well, can't do anything about it now. Just hope the tests for the last group in December will go better so I'm finished with this program (Swedish For Immigrants).

Nah, I told them it was boring. 
I really can't talk to people when they have 0 interest in what I'm saying (well talking to randoms is hard overall for me)

^^ what he said, hes spot on, you seem to have a social issue going on was nothing to do with the examiner who you seemed to like to put the blame on for your insecurtiy |

Nah I'm from Belgium 
Just doing SFI to learn Swedish as fast as possible but sadly the level is quite low in there. So after two months their plan with me was to just do the tests so I can finish it and go to Komvuxen.
For the insecure thing... I just get easily frustrated when I notice lack of interest (I like to blame my autism for that). Didn't want to blame the examiner, I know it is an issue created by myself (she was friendly and helpful).
The bitching was more about me making it harder on myself than I should have, Could have picked something easier from the get go or just try and push my issues aside and continue with the first part
In the end it's just one crappy test, and I will hopefully learn from this. I just struggle at times with myself and wanted to vent the frustration I had on myself |

I feel your pain to some extent..I go the same hobbies and activities as you it seems.
Its so hard to explain to people your free time is enjoyed spent on PC games, computers, IT crap, science, etc..they always have that look of "No no, what do you do for FUN."
I HATE people asking my hobbies in general settings. Like idle chitchat or meeting new people with that sense you need to chat, since you are going to be near each other for a few hours.
I do the same thing, People ask me what I like to do for fun..I think "this is going to suck" and explain I like computers, and tinkering with them, and such.
I get blank stares like "no we didn't ask you what your job is, we asked you what your hobbies are". To them its the same as me saying "Oh i like to play on my phone as a hobby" it makes no sense to them. So I go into that I enjoy physics, and science..and again looks of "No what do you do for FUN, not what do you study".
So after about 10 minutes of this, we run out of stuff to talk about since we usually have NOTHING as a common interest we realize..and They get that look of 'well hes a boring fucker, why am I talking to him?"....hey YOU started talking to me, I didn't start this awkward conversation. I never gave any indication or hope that I wasn't boring to start with.

@DXWarlock: You are so right. Some people just cannot comprehend an answer like that. Everyone HAS to like go fishing, go on special trips etc. to have FUN :/

Hah yea, why I was saying hes not the only one, there is a LOT of us out there like that
Worst one was I was on site for my job for dow jones for a few weeks, and my Boss's Boss lives near there..so he wanted to meet up for dinner. I was dreading it the moment he offered. I couldn't turn it down.
So after the usual "You've worked here 3 years and finally got to meet you!" conversation it turned to "So what do you like to do? which teams you follow?" part.
Told him I had no idea what sports was even in season right now, much less which teams are doing what or who plays for who. And my spare time I like to dabble on the PC, read books on physics and non fiction, and watch science channel. And I actually like doing nothing, not that I mean there is nothing I like doing, I actually enjoy doing "nothing" sometimes.
I got the look like I told him I liked to collect dead rats and organize them into tupperware bowls by breed and fur color. A reply oh "ohhh, I see" from him..and awkward silence since his ice breaker topic of which sports teams I liked failed, and I think I kinda ruled out any other backup openers he had prepared.

If the topics of these conversations are recurring, usually the best thing to do is to prepare and write down some standard lines that you will memorize and use like a boss depending on the topic chosen. 
These people don't care about you, your life or if you're telling the truth, really, they just want to hear you talk fluently with no mistakes (which is all that matters here) like Sniffty said.
You need to imagine them as walls with no personality whatsoever, they will react or care only if you say tillfredställande instead of tillfredsställande xD
