edit: "Aveline" seems to be present in my folder.

Yeah, all the DLC content is there (there's what, a dozen DLC folders?) just that until now there was no way to launch them.

I have a question about that new unlocker crack. It just unlocks the DLC stuff right? Its not touching anything else which is locked or?

Only DLC content. Will work after updates. We only need to fill those dlc_x fodlers with files when dlc's are out.

How do you know updates will work?
Is there any way to get rid of tearing without Vsync? Triple buffering doesn't work. The game falls back to 30fps everytime it drops from 60 (with Vsync 30, without Vsync 57 for example). This is the first game in which tearing is frustrating me badly.

It just changes one .dll file and not the exe so unless they change that file it'll be compatible with future updates.
(And if they do and it's nothing too extensive you can always copy the altered file back.)
Some DLC are also dependent on additional game files not yet available or at least not present in the current available version of the game.
(Much like how patches for AC3 enabled the DLC menu but you couldn't play those chapters until the required files were also present.)

Hardly a spoiler, many sites were posting this info as an easter egg.
If we take it as the truth, all recent Ubisoft games share the same universe (Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed, Watch_Dogs)
There was an Abstergo logo in some hi-tech cave in FC3 IIRC, including some documents about Abstergo.

Sorry if answered before but does the "Edward's Fleet" portion of the game require you to be online in this version? I remember reading about some form of online DRM for that single player portion of the game. If no, does not having that portion make the game more a pain in the ass to complete or is it mostly optional?

seems like its online only , but som ubi guy said on ubi forums that it shoul be playable offline after initial login to uplay - we will probably see once game gets really relased

Wohooo! My precious rig strikes again. I managed to fire it on my C2D e4300@3Ghz, 2GB RAM and R4850. On Low I have ~30 fps, on medium ~25fps. Both dips to ~20, sometimes below. And a occasional hiccup from time to time, when something new loads. Still I managed similar or worse back in the 90. I can manage it now.
So Quad and 4870 as minimum specs are overrated.
I love this rig, we had so many good years... Will miss it when I will change it next year to something high-end.
EDIT: I game at 1280x1024, so for AC IV its 720p

Its not a 60min, more like 10min of gameplay and 10 of cutscenes (At least for me).

you seems to have some weird sense of time - it took mi around a hour and i skipped all cutscenes

While the sea and everything around it is great, the missions are beyond boring. Honestly it seems that every mission involves tailing someone. Get's old really fast especially if you do a couple of missions in succession...

The kind of hoops you can be forced to jump through in order to get a complete legit game can more often than not seem like a personal appeal from the publisher to pirate the shit out of their game.

Especially when it's Ubisoft involved, they seem to dislike the legitimate customers as much as they do pirates. Oh well... that's why DLC unlockers were created!

Dunno, maybe i was enjoying that much.
Tip: upgrade mortar, seriously i can one shot Hunters with that, its so awesome.

Why is it that all the keysites inc. Greenman are saying rls is 21st nov when its coming out first on 19th ? i want to get a key on the 19th & unlock the game via VPN but cant if they dont send the keys out till the 21st ??

What the hell is ULC? User locked content (aka fleet system/community chests)?

ULC= Unlockable content (in this case just preorder bonusess)
Social/fleet/uplay content is still locked with that crack

Setting FC/FC2/FC3 inside the same universe as W_D and AC. I think that would actually be really impressive 
) But I don't know whether to wait for $1.5 edition to unlock next week or play the cracked one. Are there any bugs or issing/bugged stuff in cracked version, besides the low framerate (~30 on absolute max on my 660Ti) that don't bother me much as I'm playing on the controller?
