Yes, I would agree with you about that for sure (except I think it looks way better than a 2007 game, except for Crysis of course).

I've not had these issue at all. The fire is ridiculous, yes, but I've not seen those low-res, ugly textures.

I've not seen these low-res textures during my playthrough. Sucks for you, if you did.

Okay Wickster

I'm guessing you've got a Titan running off a 4960X (or one of its predecessors) with 32 GB of RAM and have some special version of the game that has the textures that were meant to be in, because everyone else in the world saw that shit Laughing

I have seen low-res textures, I have however not had the error where they get stuck on lowest quality forever but there's numerous posts about it.
(Unsure what causes it, memory leak perhaps, VRAM related maybe?)

No, I have Radeon 7990, i7 3770k and 16 GB RAM. I can honestly say I have not seen any of the issues shown in the video, save for the fire, which is indeed ridiculously bad.

I had a few low res textures, but those where occasional.
Some people just like to exaggerate Razz
But tbh, they advertise it as "next-gen", low res textures, no matter how less or in what area, is just not acceptable as "next-gen".

Sorry Crap-o-vision, your attempt at pushing the boundaries of PC gaming has failed.

Try again next year, when they bring us CoD: Vampires, sucking the blood of gaming with a direct clone of MW2 - with vampires. And stakes.
MW-ahahahahah...

nope now even my new laptop cant get past menu

but during that loong loading memory usage slowly rises from 500MB to 3GB , something is really wrong but not sure what that is

EDIT now i see the problem it seems t be thx to Nvidia Optimus technology - whenever i set the game to use Nvidia GPU its still uses the onboard Intel one

well that patch fixed nothing, I just tried it out
- cutscenes still freeze and skip sound if Vsync is on
- blurry textures still there (its always the same objects that are blurry)
