Telltale Games is working on a selection of "dream IP" alongside the upcoming season of The Walking Dead that it "can't wait to announce".
Co-founders Dan Connors and Kevin Bruner discussed the developer's future in an Ask Me Anything on Reddit – hinting at the possibility of a Star Wars title.
"A Telltale Star Wars game would make me VERY happy!" said Bruner. "We've got some IP coming up that pretty much checks all of my personal favourites, which absolutely amazes/honours me."
"Coming from LucasArts we have so many people here that love Star Wars and have worked with the license so that would be a great fit and very cool," added Connors. "In addition we will be working on a few licenses that definitely fall into our dream IP scenario and we can't wait to announce those."
excuse the noob question but what "dream IP" means?
Indiana Jones
or those games the rest of Ips of Lucas they didn't remade [they already remade Sam&Max and Monkey Island]
Star Wars
Full Throttle
Grim Fandango
Loom Maniac Mansion Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders
It's obviously going to be an adventure game based on Sex And The City.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

That "dream IP" is Game of Thrones. As for what it means? IP is "intellectual property" and is basically a movie/software/franchise/etc - "dream IP" is Telltale's way of saying there's something out that they dream about making into a game. In this case... Game of Bore... sorry.. Game of Thrones
Not exactly what I expected, but with all the material at their disposal I can't say no to an 'alternative' version of the story a-la Walking Dead. I like the idea
It needs to be aimed to a mature audience though, otherwise it's not proper GoT! I wonder if they'll use the same comics-like engine.
But what the hell can they do? PG13 original story? Season 1 Telltale style which i've seen a few too many times already? I honestly don't think this will be good.
are you kidding?
Game of Thrones is one of the most popular TV series to date,if true, you should be glad they manage to get that far to make adventure game for that kind of high rated series.
as for how it will looks,so far,on Walking Dead they goes on the Comic, not exactly directly from TV series,GOT is based on A Song of Ice and Fire,so in theory,it could have more cartoon fantasy looking look, they still using their Tool engine.

look at theirs track record and theirs engine they use to build games
each one is a comic book style game ! with semi cell shading models , they TRIED to do a serious game with theirs engine ,that Jurastic Park game but it was a disaster
just image Game of Thrones to be like this crap QT filed crap with narrative characters , narrating every step and move they make
brrrrr just awfull
Dead walking worked for them because it was mostly based on the comic book esthetic's
same with FABLE !!! you know fable dont you? ...
on this comic book
they based The Wolf Among Us ! duh...
Blegh. There's enough Game of Thrones games, damn it!
Where exactly?! There really aren't. However, there's way too much Telltale crap out there. Learn to make a proper game or stop making this interactive movie bullshit.
Well, I for one haven't played any of their "interactive movie bullshit" apart from TWD, but it was -- despite its flaws -- fuckin' awesome. Actually, the best gaming experience I've had for quite a while.
I'm yet to try out The Wolf Among Us, but heard it's pretty good, too. So if they make a GoT game (of which there really isn't nearly enough out there), I'm definitely interested.
This just in, folks. Film studio Lionsgate (best know for films like The Hunger game saga) just signed a deal with game developer Telltale Games, who are recognized for a variety of first-class adventure games such as The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.
"Lionsgate is one of the most innovative, entrepreneurial and impressive content companies in the world today. I'm delighted to welcome an experienced executive like Jon, a leader who shares our unique vision, to our Board," said Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner. "Lionsgate has a great track record in developing and marketing feature films as well as platform-defining premium scripted television. This partnership will accelerate Telltale's ability to create not only original games, but episodic television series based on our game properties – an area at the cutting edge of industry growth."
Well, I think we all know where this is going.
The Hunger Games Telltale adventure Season 1? What else?
(I preferred Battle Royale over Hunger Games but I'm a sick bastard so... )
