I've played it quite recently and there are still several servers up and running, but the problem is, most of them have the old maps  (Metro/Caspian/Firestorm). The DLCs are far less populated, but you can still find something if you don't play at late night.
I bet you can even find 2-3 buddies in the whole Oceanic area who play the game  |

Lots of people are playing it. In fact, considering the Battlelog server browser results, BF3 servers are more populated than BF4 servers.
Heck, I still play it! In terms of TDM, nothing beats Noshahr.  |

Vanilla and B2K are the most played, it seems.
Not that many Premium players, it seems. It's bit shame, as End Game DLC, for example, is great. Capture the flag can be so much fun and the maps from this pack look so good.
I also like Scavanger mode from Aftermath but it's damn hard to find a populated server. Always has been, in fact...

Amazon's keys for those games from black monday or something are for Steam?..if so,are they region locked or they're multilanguage?

Not sure...but bought PAM (really fun (my son just loves it too) and definately worth $0.49 - gives steam cards too)). Amazon installer borked on me so I just took the key and put it in steam and it activated and downloaded there.
