I don't know what it is about this game that makes me hate it so much. I loved AC3 and I thought this would be even better with the pirate theme and open world, but after about 5 hours I just got sick of it and uninstalled.

To each their own for sure. My view was the opposite really. Although I did enjoy AC3 for the first 10 or so hours. I enjoyed exploring and taking my time but eventually it just kinda wore on me.
This, however, keeps pulling me back in to play just a bit more and more. It's killing my sleep schedule too hehe.

Well I give up, forced the game to run at 30fps and buffed settings way higher. Locked 30fps doesnt feel bad at all, game looks and feels way better than with lower settings and 40-60fps shifting
i5 6600 + Silentiumpc Spartan Pro, Asus H170-plus mobo, HyperX 16 GB DDR4 2133MHz, Asus GTX 970 Strix OC, 1TB Seagate Barracuda, BeQuiet L8 500W, Zalman Z9 case, crap monitor

DO NOT HAVE CHROME OPEN WHILE PLAYING THIS GAME!!!
your video driver might crash!! and you get a black screen!
my chrome has only adblock extention, and causes my video driver to crash randomly every 5 min while playing the game on very high details!
edit: might be affected by other browsers too

I had the same exact issue on first and second day. But yesterday and today had no lock-ups at all. |

Oh, so this is what kept crashing my Chrome (not driver or the game) while I was uploading that video. I was suprised because it was the first crash ever with this browser.

Jesus.. they really went too far with tailing missions... I'm so sick of that already...tail this one, tail that one, tail tailtailtailtailtail..
It's a pity the game has shitload of collect X and get Y "missions". I can only imagine what would,say, Obsidian do with that engine and the huge open world it allows to create. A proper RPG about pirates...oh well..

Pretty much.. seems to have everything except the Kenway unique swords (family swords) - not that those are any good.
