Any info on when second assault is coming to PC? I only saw vague info about it being a "timed" exclusive for xbox one.

So hardware doesn't affect this crap at all. It's all in the servers/game client breaking for some reason.

The DEPLOY crash is because you double press the button, be sure to press only once and there will be no crash. I had the same problem until I found someone commenting this on the BattleLog forums.

I hope they fix this on the next patch, because sometimes you double press it accidentally and its not nice.

If that's for real.. thanks man!

Edit: tried it out now actually...

0 crashes in 6 consecutive games. I hope it's not a coincidence.

Not a coincidence, I know it sounds funny the cause being double click, but my game didn't crashed anymore on DEPLOY after I read the advice to only press the button once.

But it keeps crashing sometimes when changing maps.

I wasn't double clicking.

I was spamming the whole 7 seconds til the button became available. Or whatever the duration is Reaction

You don't even need to press it more than once, there's auto deploy.

I did NOT expect to find something that I would really enjoy yet in this game, with the long wait for fixes and all that, but looks like TDM Hardcore is my cup of tea. Very Happy

I'm sorry I expressed myself poorly, it's not double click that gives the crash, is pressing more than once the deploy button.

Just finished the campaign because i wanted to test out my new gaming rig. Although the story sucked there were some nice moments. My favourite level is the battleship one somewhere in the middle of the game. The moment the ship breaks into 2 halves and the fight on the flightdeck were amazing Very Happy

yea, just what i thought after watching that vid Razz but maps themselves look quite nice, and i didnt play bf4 that much so reusing old stuff its not an issue for me really, tho the way in which they`ve implemented levolution on metro map is lazy as fuck.

it was the same for me, i`ve started with playing team/squad dm and domination on small maps. I didnt enjoy 64p conquest, seemed too chaotic and messy, now after few weeks i play conquest almost exclusively lol, small tdms only for unlocking gun addons. After you get better understanding of the game/guns/maps conquest can be really fun (and usually gives me huge xp boosts in comparison to tdms), even when you`re playing alone, but when you got someone to coordinate your actions via microphone its really a great experience.

I've been playing exclusively Conquest Large, especially since this time the maps seem to have been designed around the Conquest 64 mode, contrary to BF3 where they were obviously designed for Rush and adapted later (quite poorly in many cases must I say) to Conquest 32/64.

And beisdes, Conquest 64 is what makes Battlefield welll... Battlefield

Yeah don't get me wrong, I welcome all those different game mods, like for instance TDM, it also serves a purpose keeping a big number of COD kiddies away from the 64-player servers Twisted Evil

Yeah latest patch made me crash more. Before I would just get the occasional sound loop crash but now Im getting that plus bf stopped working and the game just exits without any warning. The one that just exits is the worse since you lose all your progress and I was doing quite well with PKP which is pretty hard to use without attachments. Ridiculous. The game barely works yet we have like 2 map packs in the next 3 weeks.

I played for 4 hours yesterday without any crashes, it actually runs smooth, only the sound issues are still there at some maps. This game is marvelous!! The maps are fantastic, especially paracel storm, when the weather is changing.

I read second assault dlc comesout before china rising? I thought first we get china rising?

I can't access Battlelog. Anyone else having this issue? Today has been a clusterfuck of crashes, disconnects and straight not being able to join servers and now I can't access Battlelog as a whole.

The game seems to run quite differently for different people. It barely crashes for me - maybe once per a couple of hours long gaming session.

And Battlelog is working fine here as well at the moment...

Contacted EA "Help", dude left the session.

Seems I'm stuck with internet explorer, the battlelog page can be accessed via that.

i experience a LOT less crashes, when playing on servers with 48 or less players. 64 players, it's like 50/50 lol.

I had a match of 1 hour and 15 minutes yesterday on Golmud Railway yesterday, not a single (client AND server) crash
It was Obliteration though, but it worked, no sound bugs either. Seems only to occur at Conquest?

I've played a few dozen games and only had two crashes which was on day one. I don't really get all the bitching and whining - my friend joined me in most of those games and only had one crash herself and was able to rejoin quickly. To call BF4 a wreck is really getting your panties in a twist. I had more trouble with BF3 on its release (where I would crash EVERY DAMN GAME) than with this game.

My main annoyance, is games that are poorly balanced and then, next map, they use the exact same team! Which is why half the team leaves between maps.

The fact that it doesn't crash often on your hardware, with your drivers and your operating system in unique configuration doesn't make everyone else's experience good, mate Smile

You know, I should have some special cache to keep copied this line and use it via some CTRL-V command for each time someone forgets he isn't the center of the universe. And it sure happens a LOT. IN or OUT of the game...
