sad but true, for example psx scene forums was known in moderator abuse,I guess the "active" part of the scene was on it's diaper and they promted new people on left and right,some of them also thought temeslef elites.
never got banned from psx scene ,but also not very active,so far PS3 hax was the better place I ever go,IMO
also,I won't be surprised if it slew down hacking progress,hackers probably left the scene or just didn't release anything after they got constantly insulted.

How's that a failure for MS? They're not selling the consoles at a loss this time (hardware is laughable) so ?
If anything it's a plus since more people would be willing to buy their shittyboxes.

I agree, it would probably make me buy one where as without being hacked i won't.
I doubt they would see it that way and would be a bit more humiliation in the press so early.

In other news, I was checking for these consoles at the retailers here and the PS4 is priced at around 404€ while the xbone is 630€.
And both are unavailable until next year in spring.
so apparently you can play multiplayer on xbone which wasnt released yet in your country due to 2step system of setting your location - you separately set _your_ location and your console location, so you can set it to, lets say, UK and play online no problem.
There's likely a towel there to cushion the force of the impact so that the "thuds" are only really centered on the BR drive and not sending shockwaves through the whole machine I'm still waiting for the first RRoD though

afaik its a little different, you dont need to register on some fake adress in other country etc, only choose UK for your console location, at least thats what some jurnos did on poland - adress location here, console location in other country to play online.

I will skip the PS4 for now... no retro compatibility? that's the main issue. and also, we don't know how well ps media server will work in this one. AND also, just checked the current games and they are mainly crap in my opinion. guess this generation will have -as the past- only a few must play games. and... probably they will be the same titles as from today.
