Who else is pumped about this game?This is one of my all time fav movies and i'm stoked about it coming out!

i disguss more about it later, but now my wife is using a basball bat on me, to get off the computer, all dressed up in striped baseball clothes with green face paint. Sad

I want to see fights as huge (or close to) as the last fight in shenmue, 70guys. That's what a brawler shuld deliver in my opinion. Smile If I get this then maybe.

i read that only the last third of the game actually is that night portraited in the movie. the other part is about where the gang memers are from and how they erned their respect and who they are.

i think we will be able to play different poeple out of the warriors also.

and of course, bottles, bricks and stuff will be used as weapons, while shouting orders to the warriors. Very Happy

if they manage to make the game gritty and dirty, like it was in the movie i think it will be an awesome game. and environments is something rockstar are experts on, so my hopes are high.

lol i dont think we will see 70 people brawls, but one can always hope! Smile

damn, i need to get hold of this movie now. such a classic, but havent seen it since i was a kid!

Speaking of the movie, they just came out with a special edition or such of the movie. If you dont own a copy, now is the time to get one. Very Happy

I've been checking out the game the past few weeks. I'm looking forward to it and Nailbiter is right, the game starts before the big gang meeting.

I'm not too bothered about it so far, last out and out beat-em-up rockstar did was State of Emergency which was fuckin dreadful IMO, so i'm holding for more videos and details on this before i get excited.

PS I didnt like manhunt either. I've only like the gta series from them (that comes to mind)

well i loved the film as i do rockstar but dont actually hold out to much hope for the game as it will follow the night in the film, fighting the different gangs and i feel it will just be walk around bump into gang have fight move on bump into another gang have a fight so on and so on Sad

As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

Yeah I picked up the new DVD release.Digitally remastered with directors cut.Alot of new scenes.I still have my VHS orig copy of it as well.I think it's great that they are actually doing the story of them leading up to that night.Just imagine playing all the movie scenes near the end?It has got to be incredible.

But This is one of the few Titles I have been excited about ( this and stubbs )

I just seen a commercial for the game and it said the 18th. Either way, I'm planning on playing it all night wednesday. I have that "warriors, come out and play" bit stuck in my head. Smile

Yeah, the way IGN was covering the game, I was expecting a review by today. Guess there is still a few hours left in the biz world.
