fuck this. They should give everyone a personal boost (like the ones you can use) which works for a set time. I've a lot to do around this time and not enough to play much (or period). So i really don't get anything from this whole appreciation bullshit.

i didn't say it's anyones "fault". I simply said that it is rather arbitrary to make a week double exp.Not a premium double xp, no, but one to "say sorry to the customers.
i, like many many others, paid over 100$ for this game and dice is "saying sorry" for all the crashes and lost exp (because of it), by giving a week of double exp. Except that MAYBE some people can't profit of it AT ALL. personally, i can even say, that i don't care much about faster xp, i really don't, but it's foremost about the principal.
And i am neither whining or bitching about it either. Like i said, personally i don't give a shit, but how arbitrary the whole excuse is (an excuse should be a lot more personal, i.e. per player and not some "here, take this and shit the fuck up" kinda thing
so those 25-50-100% boosts add to that double xp now?
It works like this:
Kill = 100 points.
2XP = 100 points extra.
Let's say you have a 100% booster = 100 points extra.
Total: 300 points. All boosters are based on the original points. It does stack, but not on top of each other.
also, and correct me if i am wrong, the boosts only add to your level progess exp and not to weapon/class/vehicle etc progress. At least that's what think from what i've seen.

So, just played a round and yay...there seems to be a sync problem.
People are not where they are supposed to be, for example; I saw a friendly go down so I run up to him for a revive and nothing happens, then another medic revives him...4 meters away from where I was standing.
Yep, that's the "future enemies" thing I keep on going about. Enemies you see on your screen are in your past, but in reality they are in the new spot they already moved as in future. So once you spot them, they have already started shooting before you saw them and then you die without any chance.
Changing server fixes this bug sometimes, but there seems to be different levels of sync issue. Some servers I quit after one enemy encounter as you can tell instantly if it's fair or not. Also was in BF3, one way of spotting this if you get killed by someone not facing you. Like this:
Oh and now that the one-shot-kill bug fix is coming, here's the bug in action in BF3 (old video) I bet they forget to patch it there, not that I play it anymore.
I do hope we don't need to wait until BF5 to get a fix for that network sync issue

It adds to everything, since your progression is directly tied to score: you progress through the class by scoring points as that class, and you progress your vehicles by scoring points while using that vehicle, etc.
The only exceptions are weapon attachment unlocks since those are tied to kills, not points.
Yeah, if it really doubles your weapon score then this 2 x XP events are really worth it if you use them for unlocking weapons for a class you rarely use. Like me with Support and Recon, I guess I will be doing just that when I start playing a bit later

That's pretty much the primary reason most of us used the boosts, I think. Especially good for getting those really useful items like larger ammo packs and medkits that seem to be residing higher up the progression tree this time.

You get "started playing" message on Battlelog when you get the rights to play a certain game or expansion. It's the same when you order or pre-order the game. It doesn't mean you are actually playing it, just that it was added to your account
Bah! So torn between getting this dirt cheap - even with all the errors - and putting the money towards a Kindle. But, honestly, I think I'll go for the Kindle. I get sick of paying for games that are broken, and this seems more broken than anything I've bought in a good long while.
