bastards! this is one game in serious need of a patch, and like yesterday. you know its really a shame... such a beautiful game ruined by more bugs then even atari POS games. EA really fucked lionhead over on this one. I mean which would be worse, making people wait another month for a more perfect game or leaving alot of ppl with a game that barely runs, so they gotta shelve it for a month or whenever it gets fixed? anyways if i was out 50 bucks id be even more pissed, heh. anyways whoever can run the game perfect count yourself lucky, i have given up after CTDs every 5-10 mins or so. its a shame, too, i was just beginning to dig the whole b&w thing for the first time. oh well, back to rome tw for this unhappy pup.

whats everyone moaning about a patch being needed, i'm on the 3rd island and it runs like a dream so far on max settings and everything without a glitch, maybe cos i have a ATI x800XTPE?

also the Tiger unlocker is out, that works fine also.
Overall great game but not much change since 1st one except graphics vastly improved.

works like a charm here to. evrything on max and only got a GF fx5900xt MSI card. so its not so much about your graphic card as it is on your memory i think... cus my card sucks =)

A 'clone' is a perfect image of the protected disc of the game. 'clone releases' don't include cracks because they don't need them... Cracks are to make the game not notice that the disc in the drive isn't perfect.

But what would i need to do now to get the game working? I mounted it, that should be enough, shouldnt it?
I just dont see what i did wrong now, it still keeps saying i didnt put the right cd in. Maybe i should just download everything again. ><

yes. apparently for us 6600gt users it does not 'run like a dream' all kinds of graphics glitches and ctds with whatever drivers you use. apparently many other users are having the same issues on the lionhead forum so guess ill just have to wait for that patch. or the next one. who knows.
its kinda funny how the games with nvidia logos have probs on ati hardware, while those with ati logos run like crap on nvidia hw.

Indeed, it sounds like either you got a corrupt cd image, or didn't get everything... I'm playing a clone I made myself, so I don't know what the Nobody release came with.

Just kidding. I nearly said 'total crap' at the beginning, too, but ... I've persevered. It's not so bad. I still prefer the first one because it was more magical, and less RTS... But oh well.
