@madness Well that picture explains why there are so many useless sniper campers on every map (last time I played operation locker it had 3x cemping master snipers outside on the blizzard..)
So I think (emphasis on think) found what was causing the erratic framerates. For the second night in a row I couldn't be arsed to use my logitech G35's and just went with onboard audio, framerates were mostly around 100-110 and even when it dropped down to like 85 at times I barely noticed. Some maps, like shanghai, still give me "bad" performance but nothing like I had earlier.
I'll try another time with the G35's to see if it's not just a fluke.

Sorry I didn't really read much about your problems you are experiencing, but do you by any chance have Vsync enabled while having playing in windowed borderless? After patch this causes horrible stuttering, with vsync off everything is fine.

Fullscreen with Vsync disabled but frames capped at 120.
Origin is malware. Always goes randomly offline even tho I have the internet connection (thus drops my game).
And it seemed EA.com was down for couple of minutes as well right just now, could not connect to it while everything else worked fine. EA's developer sector needs an upgrade
God this unstable piece of shitgame. So many crashes and freezes. And of course mostly in a round that already run for over one half, and/or i am good in
If at least you would get the score instantly, and not just at round end i would have no problem with that

Ever since China Rising or the new patch Origin tries to update BF4 whenever I join a server. Anyone else getting that problem? I reinstalled the game and it didn't fix it. Doesn't prevent me from playing, but it is annoying having to cancel the fake update every time.

Yeah it does that for me too. Although not every time. It did when I played for the first time today, for example, but not when I joined later.
Perhaps it does that the first time you launch Origin.
Or maybe you should let it do its thing. The very first time it did that, it rescanned some files I had and then downloaded a 800MB update. The second time it looked like it downloaded something, but didn't really show anything. And on the third time nothing happened - worked fine.

Bonus. Now I've shot down everything that flies with SMAW (edit: whoops, forgot Jet, so more fun to be had). Gunship next would be sweet, SUAV pretty hard and MAVs I don't even see flying anymore (too many gadgets)
