Game just got patched. Again...

I just... you know... Everything was so damn fine yesterday. Today is a mess. Hit reg miss is back, server lag is back, getting insta shot again by spray noobs...

I give up for now.

Tried the latest nvidia beta drivers and so far it's stable, not as good performance but it doesn't crash/force close.

Like ATI's are much better Rolling Eyes (I'm still laughing at ATI's drivers when Rage first came out. Three months to get a stable driver is nothing short of a joke). I've owned almost all of ATI's top of the line single GPU cards apart for the 2900 series right up to the 6970 (which was so fukin loud it would wake my other half up when playing something at night. I watched as their drivers went from bad to total garbage and bailed back to the green team. Bought a GTX580 and since then I've had zero issues. Magic.

Battlefield 4 has run butter smooth on my GTX680 and now GTX780 with all drivers since release to date. The only part where there is stutter is the cave area on Guilin Peaks. This is not a gpu/driver issue. For some reason DICE had something or a part of this area rendered by the CPU. This is what's causing the stutter and it's being looked into.

Do you get this message while trying to join a server? I get a lot of those messages and I think it has something to do with servers changing maps. Because after several retries, when I finally join, the round has just started or I'm in the post-game report screen.

There are many that *think* they can system build... 31 years under my belt of experience says I know what I'm talking about...

Doesn't really prevent you from being wrong.
And lets keep this scoped appropriately - there's been about 15 years of rivalry between Nvidia and Ati/AMD, so I will only accept objective, independently peer verified statistical data on their driver performance from that period.

Still get the sound loop crash on Siege of Shanghai and Dawnbreaker. Maybe one day they will get around to fixing this.

New patch, same shit.

Servers really are hit and miss unlike in BF3... here I can be playing without issues in one, jump to another and I'm seemingly killed by the other guys in 2 shots while it takes almost a full clip to put someone down.
When they don't fire two shots and kill me that is Laughing

The 1-2 bullet deaths seem to be gone for me almost completely. Since the patch of last week that came with the expansion, I've only exeperienced it twice in the same server in the same match, and then again it might have been lag on my side.

How can they get around to fixing this when they don't even bother to acknowledge its existence (despite the multitude of threads bitching about it). I wouldn't hold my breath - I've just given up on playing Shanghai and Dawn Breaker completely - not worth the hassle.

The other guy doesn't shoot you twice, he killed you normally and the server registered it, only it shows like that on your end, that's why some people think this is the one hit kill bug that has been already fixed.
So yeah it depends on the server.
