honestly, i don't think the whole item crap stats comes from blizz wanting to make more money. i think that's too easy. i think they genuinly fucked up their game. I prefer to think so anyways.

i think it has been established enough times, that blizzard works independent from activision. They don't need kotick to fuck up their games.

90% of their playerbase never had 50 million gold, only bots and gold sellers proft ...

i read somewhere, that all items will be bound to account and you can't trade them anymore, except with people in your game. Not sure if that was a suggestion or if that's how it will be tho. Anyone ?

From what I've seen in beta, legendary items are BoA, crafting mats are BoA, gold itself is BoA. I think rare items and below aren't. Basically trading is dead.
Now if you're playing with other people, stuff that drops during that run...you can trade it to them for 2 hours. Kind of like how items work in raiding in WoW, if an item drops from a raid boss you can trade it to people in your raid for 2 hours and then it's stuck to you.
So RoS is now officially in Closed Beta, and patch 2.0.1 is available on the PTR for everyone.

yeah no trading at all in a mp game (which they force on the people) ... it's really going from something stupid to something dumb lol.
But that's blizzard. They always seem to go from one stupid extreme to the other stupid extreme ... and then wonder why people get pissed off.
