Hey guys. Could you help me with some suggestions on what to get someone for a Secret Santa exchange I'm a part of? Here is a list of things he is interested in. I believe he's in his late 30's or early 40's.

He's a gadget geek/physics junkie. Star Trek, LOTR, EVE Online, Things he can do with/teach his daughter (young, around 10 I believe).

Price would be up to around $50 or so. Can be less of course. Last year, someone got him an LOTR leather bound notebook. He loved it.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks guys. I went with this:

Root beer brewing kit. I know it's not quite as "geeky" as it could have been, but I factored in the "something to do with the daughter" aspect of it all. I believe he has dabbled in brewing as well so this might be a "fun" way to bring in the kid and to maybe make some floats or just plain old frosty beverage.
