heh, wish i could, i stepped on the drivers disk for my old one so now unless i wanna use those kx drivers(didnt really care for em-no eax,ect) with the old one gotta use this big fuckin worthless soundcard and its worthless drivers.

This game is beautiful - playing on a Leadtek 6800GT with max settings for video.
Feels a bit like AoM - lovely bloom effects on landscape, etc
Ton of upgrade options & structures, etc

Just mounted the game with daemon tools (first time using this program) and u know what i will start doing that from now on. just burn a few game images to a dvd and i don't have to swap discs yes. lol. I know I know i'm a rookie but it installed fine. Question i realize that i don't have to copy no crack or anything like that to play. just mount and good to go. I might just have to say Daemon tools is one amazing program. LOL

Man, i wake up today at 7pm to find 3 good games sittin on my computer + i have bw2 and bia2...im gunna have to like rotate and play each game for an hour  all are on my top 10 list
Well, im gunna be gaming when i get home from the club, for a long long time

i'm such a whore. Ever since little teaser info has been release early this year/late last year I've done nothing but criticise how the devs were only interested in making the game pretty. Sure enough after hearing reports about the demo, I knew with concrete certainty that this is just another stupid plain old RTS that plays no different from it's predecessors. I refused to download the demo, and up until 2 hours ago I refused to download this.
But fuck. It's free. And I'd be lying if I said I don't miss playing AoE2 with my old clanmates.
So let it be known, although I'm currently playing this game, I think it sucks and will always suck. I hate it and I refuse to ever play it.
Now, lets go see how shitty this game is....

It's same old RTS, don't bother. It even looks like 2d when zoomed out.
I turned in the game, tutorial dude was like "build barraks, build 5 soldiers" and I almost puked.
Now the kiddie reading my post is thinking "lol stfu noob AOE3 RULLLZZZZ you just dont like rts". Well I played rts's to death in Dune - Red Alert 2 range (timewise).
If anyone think this is a best RTS game or GOTY or something you need a god damn bitch slap. Wake up.

Why is it when the people talk in the game, the first word and the last word of the paragraph is missing, like cutoff. I tryed it with my onboard sound, did it, then it did it with my SBLIVE!, no other game does this, I have the newest drivers, I turned DX Sound accel off too, no luck.

I can also report something odd - I have an Audigy2 ZS with latest XP drivers (running XP SP1 btw) and about 10-20mins into playing AoE3 skirmish game the sound in the game totaly cuts out. I can alt-tab out and play an MP3 no problem. Anyone have this? Frick'n bizzare...

I played skirmish for 2+ hours with the same card and sp1 with no issue. Use the link I posted above to make sure you got the latest drivers. Never hurts to check.
