ok, bought it cheaper than i expected, with 750gb filled with shitty games (only worth playing are red dead, gta 5, gow 3, maybe some ratchets), i need to dl all uncharteds, killzones, infamous, mgs etc, fuuuck

its not quite as good as dark souls i d say, but its still a damn good, moody rpg like its sequel.

also keep in mind that demons souls 2 (uncertain whether ps3 or ps4) will be an exclusive too, a separate game from dark souls, but still made by the same devs.

and where did you read that? from software already is making dark souls 2, demons souls 2 wasnt announced, and afaik sony owns right to the IP, from software went their own way, thats the reason they needed to change the name.
Ok so i just got lucky and bought a slim ps3 with a broken blueray for £20 and one controller. Woman said it sounded like a plane taking off when a disc was inserted.
Opened it up and out popped one of these from the drive magnet.
Sending off for flashing £25 = my little boy will be happy playing lego, spiderman and superman for xmas
Edit: i sold my last PS3 so i have no physical games anymore, will i need a game disk to play the games via Multiman?
I did the same, bought a Slim PS3 for £20, but it had the BSOD issue. Took it apart, cleaned it all up, put new paste on the chips and bingo it works to this day on OFW as not had the chance to downgrade yet, as trying to weigh up the option of sending it off for downgrade or doing it myself but haven't found a reliable E3 Flasher source in the UK that aren't overpriced.
All so my 4 year old son will stop kicking me off my PS3.

bought a used PS3 slim with 160 GB for 130 Euros from a friend. I'm gonna order the Cobra ODE now and I will try to "install" it... I hope I won't brick it

thats cool but i don't really care abouit ps2 games. I'd like to have immediate access to some of my favorite ps3 games from the xmb bypassing the need to boot into multiman for certain titles.
erm, as far as i know cobra ode wont help if you`re above 3.55. btw cobra is integrated in some cfw`s already, i didnt bother testing it but running isos from pc sounds great
just read up on the cobra a bit, still have a question though.
would it be possible to play ISO's in emu mode and then use passthrough to connect to PSN and sync trophies?
i have tons of ISO's left, but also have dozens of games through PS+. would like to be able to play them all.
I don't think that Cobra ODE can be banned from PSN either way as long as you don't have any home-brew installed, or at least if you do, make sure you spoof their PARAM.SFO to real games (demos, for example), because these are traced back by Sony, amongst other things (most likely only this in the case of Cobra ODE).
I'm not sure to be honest. Even if there is a need for it, editing PARAM.SFO and changing the TITLEID can be done in 30sec with any hex editor, it's just a text string.
For example BLES01405 to BLES01450 whatever you want, as long as it exists (demos are NPEB/NPEA/NPUB/NPUA)
