christmas, holiday .. whatever.

anyway.

Spent the after noon to the evening with friends, eating too much and having fun. Then afterwards i worked all night at our annual "christmas disco". And since we're about the only place open, we've been overrun with people lol. Fun Smile

For the first time in ~6 years I did nothing during Christmas and the time around - nothing apart from eating. Simple reason - 3 weeks ago I've broken my talus bone, so I'm more or less grounded. Up to this year, I've spent every free moment around Christmas with friends hanging around our private climbing (bouldering) wall, as currently I live 220 km from my home time and Christmas is one of the few occasions during a year to meet with mates from here (and those that come back home for Christmas as well).

So yeah - screw (this) Christmas.

1st xmas day is time for a "julefrokost - xmas breakfast". Nice and slow breakfast with lots of awesomeness. And it was also a 2nd xmas eve at my mothers house today Smile

Just came back home, and now im chilling here with some brew my grandmother made. Kinda strange that my grandmother makes beer as an xmas tradition, but its pretty awesome xD
It doesn't contain much alcohol tho Wink Id guess 3-3.5%

Had an early Christmas party on Sunday at my girlfriends dad, we were with a lot of people there: her stepmom, 3 half-brothers and their girlfriends. Her stepmothers sister+boyfriend, brother and her parents.
It started of with cookies and pastries and chatting, then we had dinner after that we gave each other presents and then we did some games where you could win some secret gifts. After games it was candy time, some more chatting and at 22.00 we headed home.

On Tuesday we spend Christmas eve at her mother along with her stepdad and half-sister. We talked a bit and then it was time for Kalle Anke at 15.00 (tradition in Sweden) after that we had dinner got a bit drunk because me and her stepfather were drinking Schnapps (I hardly drink alchohol, think last time was Christmas last year ).

We opened presents after dinner and then had some 'Ris à la Malta'. Then there was some other old cartoon we watched but I forgot what it was called. Same kind of story as Robin Hood. After that some American Funniest Home videos, Then some 'Svensson & Svensson'. We ended up going home around 22.30. Dropped of the presents at home and had a walk to the harbor and got back home past eleven somewhere.

Christmas day was pretty much slacking, played The Last of Us a bit (xmas giftie) my girlfriend went to see her best friend since she was in town for the holidays.

Tomorrow it's back to her mom to celebrate her mothers birthday and that will be it until New Year Smile

Same here, didn't have to work so slept until 7pm. got up, did some random stuff. Basically it was my Saturday routine, just on a Wednesday.

Cooked the Meaty-Main course for dinner with close friends and girlfriend (one of the other guys did the Vegetarian Main, and other people chipped in doing side-dishes and desserts.). Drank champagne, played some silly board games (wooo Cutthroat Caverns and The Agents). Drank port. Ate cupcakes and other desserts. Played 4 player Spelunky on the PS3/Vita.

Keeled over in bed.

It was a good day. Very Happy

Had my parents, my sister and her husband and child over. Made some great meals, they were really surprised and delighted. And we were happy to get the apartment in a presentable state in time and the food was really good which surprised us a lot.

Also played bomberman Very Happy

Didn't do anything too fancy this year because of budget reasons (the "true" vacation will be postponed to January/February if both the wallet and free time will let me), but at least I got to have three epic dinners with respectively old friends (the bachelor frogs), family and family part II - extended edition Razz

My mum and aunt are both great cooks, but they really outdid themselves this time..and obviously all I could do was say 'challenge accepted' and face the feast. It's mandatory!
Ended up eating so much stuff that I could survive for at least 6 months without eating anything else xD
