Hmm yea its a pretty good game idea. But for beeing in Berlin late April 1945 until early May, its pretty much a ghost town, whitch makes it sorta wierd and spooky, not realy what one would expect with about 7-8 Russian Army Groups operating inside Berlin.
All in all not to bad but...

I am suspecting something with sound because sound always fucks up first then it crashes. Got an audigy 2 zs and using creatives suck drivers so that could be the problem.
got the same soundcard and using drivers "5.12.2.444", no crashes so far.

i really like this game, it was a real surprise that it would be this much fun. been a while since i gamed this much, i installed hl2 and medal of honor pacific assault a few days ago just to have something to do, guess i'll uninstall them again =)

yeah i got the same sound card and first the sounds get wierd in the first chapter at objective 3 then blue screen and reboot. :@

ill try those drivers u got...

What's this game's save system?
Can you save game anytime? Or is only Auto-save available?

nope...sounds like a tampered crack or something...thats weird...find a different copy (stay away from "cracks" on the p2p networks - those are usually fubar)

there are autosaves and regular saves and quicksaves.. you can basically save maybe 5 times on a mission (rookie mode *ahem..*, so i guess it's either the same or fewer times on the harder difficulties), and after that if you save/quicksave the game warns you that it will start deducting points from your score. dont know if that has any large influence on the game itself, you can probably just ignore it

i play it like any other bloody fps, i run around trying to get the bulletcam headshots all the time. like i did in max payne. i even ran through soldier of fortune trying to just get headshots or throatshots or crotchshots a couple of times. i might be insane =)

Awesome game
Nothing to innovative, except for maybe the concept...but the dynamics will be familiar to any 3rd person/fps gamer...but i highly recommend it as the sniping is incredible. I'd rate this game 9/10 - im loving it Very Happy And the gore is nice surpirse, considering most games choose to omit gore for a better ESRB rating right

This game came outta no where for me...didnt hear much about the console version, thought it was a buget game and shit....i was so wrong Very Happy

I was doubting if i should get it but now i will for sure, didnt hear much about it as well and thought it was a budget game Very Happy

bleh! for some reason about 10-15mins into a game the sound will suddenly turn into a SID track & then my system hardboots itself shortly after. This one is going to uniinstall until they fix it/i get an xfi. Try lowering sound acceleration and it made bugger all difference.

i've got some strange sound issue too.. Just after some time the sound goes all fucked up and all I hear is just a fucking annoying high-pitched beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep till I quit the game .. Then my sound is all gone and I have to reboot.

Anyone got an idea?

The game seems like it's much fun btw.

Very good man
The sniping is very realistic...well, to me, ive never shot a sniper rifle.
To me it looked like budget shit, but its gotta me hooked - been playing it more than any of the other big releases (bw2,rtw:bi,bia2,aoe3 etc)
Its incredibly fun and some of the little qwerks like settin booby trap as shit on the fly is pretty fun...

Stick to only aiming for one shot one kill, cuz after 2 or 3 shots the AI picks up where u positioned...thats a big key to this game...slick firing and movement skills. Multi player must be a pain in the ass when ur up against some leet 40 year old nerd who just runs around pwning ppl...

That's sounds really nice. I hope for a game with a feel of the movies like" Enemy at the gates " or "Sniper". Is there a lot of combat other than sniping or rather "hide and seek" with occasional shot? I hope for the latter.

Its more hide and seek..cause if you start shooting everyone you see...you will get spotted. The game is basicly to be a real life sniper, hidding, stealth, precision. If you are a run and gun type of guy, this is not a game for you.

That is cool. Do you have a spotter also or act alone? Snipers used to operate in two-men teams, I think.
